    摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a TPM, a key management module for managing a key database, a memory, and a file processing module for encrypting and decrypting a file. The TPM stores a first TPM key therein and encrypts a third TPM key. The key management module stores and manages the third TPM key in the database. When the information processing apparatus starts communicating with the tamper-proof device, the key management module receives, from the TPM, a parameter for generating a second TPM key, provides the received parameter to the tamper-proof device, receives from the tamper-proof device the second TPM key which has been encrypted using the first TPM key, and provides the TPM with the second TPM key and with the third TPM key which has been encrypted using the second TPM key. When the second TPM key contains password check information, the TPM receives from the tamper-proof device a password associated with the password check information, and verifies the received password using the password check information. When it is verified that the password is correct, the TPM decrypts the second TPM key using the first TPM key, decrypts the third TPM key using the decrypted second TPM key, and decrypts, using the decrypted third TPM key, an encrypted encryption key for decrypting the file. The file processing module decrypts the file using the decrypted encryption key.

    摘要: In an information access system, an active-type contactless information storage device senses a carrier of an RF signal at a first frequency in time periods for carrier sensing occurring in a predetermined carrier sensing cycle period, and then in response to detection of a carrier of an RF signal at the first frequency, further receives the information request signal, while it also transmits the tag information signal at a second frequency carrying information in time periods for tag information transmission occurring in a predetermined tag information transmitting cycle period. A reader/writer device cyclically transmits an information request signal carrying values of the predetermined carrier sensing cycle period and the predetermined tag information transmitting cycle period, at a first frequency during a predetermined period of time for information request transmission, and in response to reception of a tag information signal at the second frequency, reproduces and compares received tag information with a list of tag information. In response to reception of the information request signal, the active-type contactless information storage device reproduces and sets the values of the two predetermined cycle periods into its respective timers. Thus the active-type contactless information storage device reduces its power consumption.

    摘要: A contactless information storage device for use in an information access system includes a receiver unit and a transmitter unit. The receiver unit is operable to sense a carrier at a first frequency in a slave mode and be continuously ready to receive an RF signal at a second frequency different from the first frequency in a master mode. In the slave mode, the transmitter unit transmits a response signal at the second frequency in response to reception of an information request signal. In the master mode, the transmitter unit cyclically transmits an information request signal at the first frequency in a transmission period and goes into an inactive state in a sleep period. In the slave mode, the transmitter unit and the receiver unit are caused to go into the master mode, when the receiver unit receives no information request signal in a time period longer than given periods.

The power management unit determines an operation mode in accordance with a remaining power of the battery. In accordance with the operation mode, the control unit causes the receiver unit or the sensor unit to operate at a particular timing. In an intermittent sleep time period, the control unit causes the transmitter unit, the receiver unit, and the sensor unit to be in an inactive state. In a period after the sleep time period, the control unit causes the sensor unit to operate in the operation mode, and causes the memory to store the detected data from the sensor unit that is determined in accordance with the operation mode.

    摘要: In an information access system, an active contactless information storage device senses a carrier of an RF signal at a first frequency in first predetermined periods occurring in a predetermined cycle and senses a carrier of an RF signal at a second frequency in second predetermined periods occurring in the predetermined cycle. When the storage device senses and detects a carrier of an RF signal at one of the first and second frequencies in a particular predetermined period, it receives further an ID request signal, and, in response to the ID request signal, transmits a response signal at a corresponding one of the third and fourth frequencies that carries an ID of the active contactless information storage device. This reduces possible interference between reader/writer devices for communicating with the information storage device.

The information processing apparatus includes an antenna, a transmitter and a receiver both coupled to the antenna, and a control unit for controlling the transmitter.
