摘要： According to the present invention, a shaft cover is attached to the front end portion of a ribbon guide shaft projecting in a cantilevered state from a side face of a printer body; cores of an ink ribbon are fitted respectively on a ribbon feed shaft and a ribbon take-up shaft both projecting in a cantilevered state from the said side face of the printer body; the ink ribbon is passed round the outer periphery of the shaft cover; then the cores and the shaft cover are pushed in simultaneously to set the ink ribbon in a predetermined certain position.

摘要： A printing apparatus comprises a printer body having an opening on the top side thereof, and a platen for feeding a paper sheet supported by a paper holder disposed in the printer body. The platen is provided in the body to face the opening. A head unit includes a housing having an opening on the bottom side thereof and a print head disposed in the housing to face the opening thereof. The head unit is moveable between an operative position, in which the head unit is located on the printer body so that the opening of the housing and the print head face the opening of the printer body and the platen, respectively, whereby the paper sheet between the platen and the print head is allowed to be ready for printing, and an open position in which the head unit is off the printer body so that the whole opening of the printer body is exposed.

摘要： A controller of a distributed POS terminal includes a control box frame which stores various hardware components for performing merchandise sales data processing, a top cover which covers an upper face and side faces of a control box frame, and a front cover which covers a front face of the control box frame. The control box frame includes a stepped part at a front portion thereof, such that a front portion of the control box frame is lower than a back portion thereof. When the control box frame is used for the distributed type POS terminal, an additional frame is fixed to the step portion to increase the supporting strength of the top cover. When the control box frame is used for an integrated POS terminal, the stepped part provides a space to place a keyboard.

摘要： A label printer for printing an image on a plurality of labels attached to a base sheet and issuing the labels on which the image has been printed. The label printer includes a platen roller, a pinch roller adapted to separably contact the platen roller through the base sheet, a slide frame for supporting the pinch roller so that the pinch roller is movable between a contact position and a separate position with respect to the platen roller, and a frame stopper for releasably holding the slide frame in the contact position where the pinch roller is in contact with the platen roller. When the frame stopper is released from the slide frame, the slide frame is slid to reach the separate position to widely separate the pinch roller from the platen roller. Accordingly, the base sheet can be easily inserted through the space defined between the platen roller and the pinch roller separated therefrom.

摘要： According to the present invention, there is used a conveyance roller for the conveyance of a pasteboard with labels; a separating member is disposed on a downstream side from a pasteboard conveyance path with respect to a printing head which holds the pasteboard with labels between the same and a platen, and in a position close to the printing head; and a pinch roller is provided for holding between the same and the conveyance roller the pasteboard portion which has been bent and separated from a label after printing by the separating member.
