A gas staying chamber is formed at the interior by covering the upper portion of the vent hole, and there are provided a vent hole cover having a gas exhaust port at its upper portion and an inert gas supply unit for supplying an inert gas to the inside of the vent hole cover. Thereby the inert gas stays in the gas staying chamber, and a gas shielding layer for shielding the vent hole from the atmospheric air is formed.

    摘要: The present invention provides a pressure casting method of a magnesium alloy. In the method, a molten magnesium alloy is cooled to form a partially molten state containing a solid-phase, and the partially molten state is further cooled to form a solid-phase granularly crystallized solid material. The solid material is partially-melted and pressure cast into a mold by a molding machine. A ratio of primary crystals in said solid material is set to 55 to 65%. The solid material is partially-melted in a solid-phase and liquid-phase coexisting state at a selected heating temperature so that a semi-solid having a thixotropic properties and having the size of a main solid phase of 50 to 250 μm and a solid-phase ratio of 30 to 70% is formed. The semi-solid is pressure cast into a mold through a nozzle while maintaining the semi-solid state to form metal products having a ratio of primary crystals of 20 to 50%.

The supply apparatus 11 and the agitation means 29 of metal material at the moment of operation starting are controlled to be inactive until the temperature of the melting vessel attains a predetermined value and to start operating when the predetermined temperature is attained, allowing to supply and agitate the metal material. The supply and the agitation of metal material after the predetermined temperature is attained, are performed while gradually supplying and agitating the metal material until metal material of at least 6 times or more of the maximum injection volume is accumulated in melt state.

    摘要: There is provided a preplasticizing injection machine including a resin vent formed in the injection cylinder behind the plunger stroke wherein said resin vent is connected to a pressure reducing device and/or an inert gas feeding machine. The resin entrapped in the clearance prevents gases generated within the cylinder from being exhausted and it may be blackened due to the oxidation thereof. According to the present invention, these problems can be solved by the above construction. Furthermore, a band heater is provided on the outer surface of the cylinder behind the injection plunger stroke over the resin vent to prevent the entrapped resin from being solidified.

    摘要: A main frame for a C-type frame for die tightening units mounted for an injection molding machine is prepared by employing a casting process. The main frame includes an opposing pair of side frames, upper frames projecting forward of fore upper surfaces of the side frame and a front frame extending between both the side frames. The side frames, the upper frames and the front frame are cast and integrated with each other to form the main frame having a predetermined width. A base board made by casting or made of a steel plate is bolted to the lower end of the main frame to form a C-type frame, and a pair of support columns each made of a steel material extend through the joint portions where the side frames are integrally joined to the front frame. The tensile strength and the compressive strength of the C-type frame are increased by tightening the support columns via nuts threadably engaged with male threads machined at the opposite ends of each support column. With this construction, the C-type frame can be constructed with lighter weight and smaller dimensions.
