    摘要: An aluminum alloy used for a die casting process and a method for casting the aluminum alloy are provided. The aluminum alloy exhibits excellent internal quality, high elongation, and high strength. The aluminum alloy includes 6.0 to 9.0 mass % of Si, 0.4 to 0.8 mass % of Mg, 0.25 to 1.0 mass % of Cu, 0.08 to 0.25 mass % of Fe, 0.6 mass % or less of Mn, 0.2 mass % or less of Ti, and 0.01 mass % or less of one element selected from the group consisting of Sr, Sb, Ca, and Na, with the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities.

    摘要: A diecasting machine casting unit includes a casting chamber body having a casting chamber with a casting material inlet and outlet. A casting piston is movable forward in a longitudinal direction in the casting chamber to discharge casting material from the casting chamber under pressure via the outlet, and is movable back, whereby casting material is feedable into the casting chamber via the inlet. The casting piston extends through a through-passage of the casting chamber body from outside into the casting chamber. An area of free space of the casting chamber is formed between an outer lateral surface of the casting piston and an inner wall surface of the casting chamber body transversely relative to the casting piston longitudinal direction by an outer cross section of the casting piston being appropriately smaller than an inner cross section of the casting chamber body.

    摘要: The die casting machine comprises a mold closing actuator capable of selectively inducing a closing pressure on first and second platens for forcing them towards a closed position in which their mold portions are pressed against each other along a parting line. An injection sleeve is movable relative to the mold portions between a distal position in which the injection sleeve and the mold portions are spaced apart; and an injection position in which the injection sleeve engages the mold portions at an inlet opening when the first and second platens are in their closed position. The injection sleeve applies a transverse contact pressure when it engages the mold portions. The closing pressure is unevenly distributed on the platens so as to compensate the transverse contact pressure to have a resulting effective molding pressure on the mold portions that is substantially evenly distributed across the parting line.
