Abstract:
A film image processing apparatus that is capable of displaying a correct screen image at all times by taking into consideration aspect ratios of a print and the monitor screen is provided. In order to achieve this, the film image processing apparatus comprises a CCD that picks up a photographic image formed on developed film, a screen image signal output circuit that outputs a screen image signal so that an image thus picked up can be displayed as a screen image on a monitor screen, a zoom lens that changes the magnification of a screen image to be displayed on the monitor screen, a read magnetic head that reads information related to the aspect ratio of a print when a photographic image is printed and a control circuit that controls the zoom lens to change the magnification of the screen image of the photographic frame in correspondence to the aspect ratio of the print that has been read.
Abstract:
A film image reproduction signal output apparatus is provided which picks up an image on a developed film by a CCD, and produces an image reproduction signal by an image pickup circuit so that the image is displayed on a monitor. The present output apparatus detects whether the film contained in a cartridge loaded in the apparatus is a negative film or a positive film. If the negative film is detected, the image pickup circuit produces the image reproduction signal by reversing an image signal received from the CCD, for display on the monitor.
Abstract:
A camera communicates with an external device using light signals that are transmitted using one or more photoelectric elements. Preferably, the communications are facilitated by using one or more camera photoelectric elements located in a cartridge chamber of the camera, which usually is used to receive a film cartridge. The one or more camera photoelectric elements usually are used to read a bar code on the film cartridge. In order to perform data communications with the external device, a dummy cartridge, which is linked to the external device, is placed in the cartridge chamber and includes one or more cartridge photoelectric elements that oppose the one or more camera photoelectric elements when placed in the cartridge chamber. Communications can take place in one or both directions between the camera and the external device.
Abstract:
A film feeding cessation adjusting device for cameras is capable of accurately stopping to a predetermined stopping position each frame of a film having a minimum number of perforations in order to ensure a sufficient data recording area. The film feeding cessation adjusting device includes a film feeding device for feeding a film, a perforation detection device for detecting a perforation of the film, a timer device for measuring a time required for film feeding, a stopping signal generating device for obtaining a time which is delayed by a predetermined period from the time at which the perforation detection device detects the perforation, on the basis of the results of the measurement of the timer device and for generating a feeding stopping signal at the obtained time, and a control device for stopping film feeding of the film feeding device when it receives the feeding stopping signal.

Abstract:
In a camera comprising a CPU, a film feeding section, a serial data clock creating circuit section, a PPM conversion circuit section, a photographic information output circuit section, and a magnetic head drive section, the CPU produces a reference clock CLK depending on a film winding speed in the film feeding section, and the serial data clock creating circuit section creates a serial data clock SCK corresponding to the reference clock CLK. The CPU converts photographic information from the photographic information output circuit section into serial data and outputs the serial data in synchronization with the serial data clock SCK. Based on the serial data and the reference clock CLK both from the CPU, the PPM conversion circuit section converts photographic information into a PPM signal and outputs the PPM signal to the magnetic head drive section for magnetically recording it on a film.
