    摘要: A 3G authentication apparatus includes: a WLAN communication section which receives a notification of reception of a connection request sent from a WLAN access network in response to the connection request from a mobile unit to connect to a WLAN capable of interworking with a mobile network; a communication section for obtaining, from a user information storing device, information indicating a service available in the mobile communication network to the mobile unit that has sent the connection request, on the basis of the notification of reception of the connection request; and a filter setting section which generates filter information by associating a user authentication ID identifying a mobile unit with an IP address obtained at the communication section. The filter information generated by the filter setting section is sent to the WLAN access network through the WLAN communication section. Thus, traffic in a network such as a WLAN in an interworking system between networks such as a mobile communication network and a WLAN can be reduced.

    摘要: Provided is an encryption device which can effectively use a hardware encryption engine and reduce a packet processing delay of a real time application. In this device, an approval unit (230) judges whether it is possible to use an HW cipher unit (264) corresponding to a secure application requested for encryption operation, i.e., whether an encryption resource is not used. A priority processing approval unit (240) calculates a priority of a cryptographic operation in the secure application of the request source. If the HW cipher unit (264) cannot be used, the priority of a secure application currently allocated to the HW cipher unit (264) is compared to that of the secure application requesting for the cryptographic operation. If the secure application of the request source has a higher priority, the currently allocated secure application is released from the HW cipher unit and the secure application of the request source is allocated to the HW cipher unit (264). The secure application which has been released is allocated to an SW cipher unit (266).

Consequently, upon failure of an IP transmission path, the IP transmission path can be changed without interruption of voice and disconnection of a call at the time of failure.

An encryption/decryption device includes a packet reception unit that acquires a packet, a first encryption engine that is formed by hardware and encrypts or decrypts a packet; and a second encryption engine that encrypts or decrypts a packet by using software. The encryption/decyption device also includes a head data identification unit that judges the real time feature of the acquired packet according to the header information on the acquired packet, and an encryption/decryption process judgment unit that decides the acquired packet encryption destination or decryption destination in accordance with the real time feature from the first encryption engine and the second encryption engine. Since it is possible to separate the encryption by hardware from encryption by software according to the packet real time feature, it is possible to effectively perform encryption and decryption.
