摘要: Proposed is an apparatus and method of preventing the leakage of information from an external storage apparatus even when such external storage apparatus is stolen or accessed from an unauthorized host computer. This external storage apparatus accessible from a host computer or another external storage apparatus via a network encrypts or decrypts data written from a host computer to be stored in the storage area, sends a request for existence confirmation to the host computer or the other external storage apparatus every predetermined period of time, and zeroizes an encryption key to be used in the encryption calculation for encrypting or decrypting data to be performed by the encryption calculation unit based on the result of a response from the host computer or the other external storage apparatus in reply to the request.

摘要: A lateral pipe lining material having a tubular resin-absorbing material impregnated with a thermosetting resin is inserted through a main pipe into the lateral pipe. The lateral pipe lining material is provided with a pushing-up member to push up a collar formed at its end of the lateral pipe lining material. When the lateral pipe lining material is drawn into the lateral pipe to the extent that the collar reaches an opening of the lateral pipe, the pushing-up member is lifted to bring the collar into close contact with the lateral pipe opening periphery of the main pipe. The lateral pipe lining material is then expanded and a heating medium is applied thereto to cure the resin impregnated in the tubular resin-absorbing material. The lateral pipe lining material can be drawn smoothly into the lateral pipe even when it is bent, enabling the lateral pipe to be lined with a high quality.

摘要: A tubular pipe lining material 1 is guided to first and second pressure chambers 50 and 55 and mounted on an eversion nozzle 55a that is provided at the lower end of the second pressure chamber. The pipe lining material is held by a holding jack 21 of the first pressure chamber, and is drawn into the second pressure chamber by the lowering of the first pressure chamber. When a prescribed length of the pipe lining material has been fed into the pressure chamber, the second pressure chamber is airtightly sealed, and the pipe lining material is everted and drawn out through the eversion nozzle by the action of fluid pressure in the second pressure chamber. Thereafter, the first pressure chamber is raised, and the same operation is repeated to successively evert and draw out the pipe lining material from the second pressure chamber.

摘要: An apparatus is provided for everting a tubular pipe lining material for rehabilitating an existing pipe. The apparatus has a sealed storage container storing a rotary body around which the pipe lining material is wound in a roll. An electric motor undergoes rotation in a first rotational direction to rotate the rotary body to wind the pipe lining material on the rotary body and undergoes rotation in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction. An eversion nozzle is attached to the storage container for everting the pipe lining material. When fluid pressure is supplied into the storage container to pull the pipe lining material out from the storage container and evert it via the eversion nozzle, the electric motor is caused to rotate in the second rotational direction due to the pulling out of the pipe lining material and to function as an electric generator to brake the pullout of the pipe lining material.

摘要: A lateral pipe lining material is comprised of a tubular resin absorbing material impregnated with a setting resin and has a flange formed on one end thereof. A peeling tube is mounted to an outer periphery of an area around the flange. A tubular peeling end, one end of which closed off, is mounted to an outer peripheral part of the other end of the tubular resin absorbing material. The other end of the peeling tube is mounted to a pressure bag, compressed air is fed into the pressure bag in a state in which the flange of the lateral pipe lining material is attached to a peripheral edge of an opening of a lateral pipe of a main pipe, and the lateral pipe lining material is everted and inserted into the lateral pipe from the main pipe side toward ground level via air pressure. The lateral pipe lining material is then heated while being pressed against an inner peripheral surface of the lateral pipe. After the setting resin impregnated in the lateral pipe lining material has been cured, the peeling end is peeled away and removed from the main pipe-side.

摘要: A lateral pipe lining material comprises a tubular resin-absorbing material impregnated with a curable resin and a brim attached at one end thereof. The lining material is positioned so that the brim faces a peripheral edge of a lateral pipe opening of the main pipe. A ring-shaped gasket composed of an elastic material is attached to an upper surface of the brim, and a bonding resin is applied thereto. The gasket seals a gap between an inner peripheral surface of the main pipe and the brim. The lateral pipe lining material is evertedly inserted into the lateral pipe in a state in which the bonding resin applied to the brim is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the main pipe. In such a configuration, ground water can be prevented from seeping into the bonding resin applied to the brim even if the ground water flows into the main pipe from a break of the lateral pipe.

摘要: An ink jet head includes a substrate having a flow path construction member constructing a plurality of discharge ports for discharging ink and a plurality of ink flow paths corresponding thereto, and a plurality of energy generating elements corresponding to the plurality of discharge ports. The substrate has an ink supply port for supplying ink to the ink flow paths. The ink supply port includes a first liquid chamber disposed on a plane on which the energy generating elements are formed, and having a grooves with island-shaped columns left, and a second liquid chamber disposed on the opposed plane, and having a plurality of through holes partitioned at positions corresponding to the island-shaped columns. In the ink jet head, the island-shaped columns and a partition wall for the through holes are left as a beam construction section, thereby improving a mechanical strength of a semiconductor substrate. Also, the first liquid chamber has a groove with island-shaped columns left, thereby enabling ink to be adequately supplied from the ink supply port to the discharge ports.
