    Abstract: A rotary compressor is provided that may include a rotational shaft, first and second bearings configured to support the rotational shaft in a radial direction, a cylinder disposed between the first and second bearings to form a compression space, a rotor disposed in the compression space to form a contact point forming a predetermined gap with the cylinder and coupled to the rotational shaft to compress a refrigerant as the rotor rotates, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the rotor, the at least one each vane coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to separate the compression space into a plurality of regions. The at least one vane may include a pin that extends upward or downward, and a lower surface of the first bearing or an upper surface of the second bearing may include a rail groove into which the pin may be inserted.

    Abstract: A vane rotary compressor may include a main bearing and a sub bearing provided with a plurality of back pressure pockets each having a different pressure formed on a surface facing the cylinder, a rotational shaft radially supported by the main bearing and the sub bearing, a roller provided with a back pressure chamber that communicates with the plurality of back pressure pockets and having a plurality of vanes configured to divide a compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. At least one of the main bearing or the sub bearing is provided with an oil supply passage that communicates with a back pressure pocket having a relatively low pressure among the plurality of back pressure pockets. Accordingly, oil may be smoothly supplied to a back pressure pocket having a low pressure.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor includes a cylinder that is coupled to an inner space of a casing and that defines a compression space, a first bearing and a second bearing located at upper and lower sides of the cylinder, a roller disposed eccentrically with respect to an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder to vary a volume of the compression space based on rotation, and a vane inserted into the roller to rotate together with the roller, and drawn out toward the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder during the rotation of the roller to partition the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. A suction passage communicating with the compression space is defined in the first bearing or the second bearing, and a suction port communicating between the suction passage and the compression space is defined on a side surface of the cylinder.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is disclosed. The scroll compressor may include an anti-rotation mechanism provided with an anti-rotation pin and an anti-rotation ring between an orbiting scroll and a scroll support member facing the orbiting scroll, and an axial thickness of the ring body portion constituting the anti-rotation ring may be larger than an axial depth of a ring insertion groove in which the anti-rotation ring is inserted. This can allow the orbiting scroll and a member facing the same to be spaced physically apart without a separate member, to secure a gap for oil to flow, such that the oil can be smoothly supplied between the orbiting scroll and the member, thereby suppressing seizure or/and friction loss between the orbiting scroll and the member.

    Abstract: A vane rotary compressor includes a roller rotatably supported in a cylinder and including a plurality of vane slots formed along a circumferential direction with back pressure chambers formed at one end of each of the vane slots A plurality of vanes are slidably supported in the vane slots protruding toward an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. A compression space formed by the vanes between the roller and the cylinder includes an inlet port and an outlet port formed at both sides of a contact point between the roller and the cylinder. A vane positioned between the inlet port and the outlet port is configured such that a front gap between a front surface of the vane and the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder is smaller than a rear gap between a rear surface of the vane and an inner surface of the back pressure chamber.
