摘要: A proposed blood treatment apparatus includes: a blood treatment unit, a pair of fluid pumps and a pair blood pumps. The blood treatment unit is configured to receive untreated blood and fresh blood treatment fluid, and emit treated blood and used blood treatment fluid. The fluid pumps are configured to pass blood treatment fluid through the blood treatment unit. The blood pumps are configured to extract untreated blood from a blood source, pass extracted blood through the blood treatment unit and deliver treated blood to a target vessel. Additionally, the fluid pumps are configured to control the operation of the blood pumps via the blood treatment fluid. Moreover, a flow control device is configured to control a trans-membrane flow between the blood side and the a fluid side of the blood treatment unit. Hence, for instance ultrafiltration can be adjusted to a desired level in a very straightforward manner.

摘要: A method for exchanging heat between an effluent fluid and a blood fluid and a heat exchanger for heat exchange. The heat exchanger comprises a first and a second fluid circuit extending through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger further comprises a stack of fluid plates and a membrane arranged between each of the fluid plates where one interspace is formed between each fluid plate and membrane. The first and the second fluid circuit is each constituted by a passage extending through the fluid plates and membranes and along the fluid plates and membranes in at least two interspaces According to the method for heat exchanging an effluent fluid is passed through the first fluid circuit and a blood fluid is passed through the second fluid circuit such that the effluent fluid is passed along one side of a membrane and simultaneously the blood fluid is passed along the other side of the membrane. Heat is thus exchanged between the effluent fluid and the blood fluid over the membrane.

Flow measurement device which determines at least one blood flow parameter reflecting an average flow in relation to the blood treatment unit during a well-defined period of operation of the apparatus, for example while completing one operation cycle. The at least one blood flow parameter is determined based on a difference between (i) a first amount of fresh blood treatment fluid received into the blood treatment unit, and (ii) a second amount of used blood treatment fluid emitted from the blood treatment unit during another well-defined period.

摘要: A proposed blood treatment apparatus includes a blood treatment unit, at least one fluid pump and at least one blood pump. The fluid pumps are configured to pass blood treatment fluid through the blood treatment unit, while the blood pumps are configured to extract untreated blood from a blood source, e.g. a patient, pass the extracted blood through the blood treatment unit and deliver treated blood to a target vessel, e.g. likewise represented by a patient. Each blood pump includes a pumping chamber, which is separated into a first accumulation container and a second accumulation container by a flexible member. The flexible member is further movable within the pumping chamber so as to vary a volume relationship between the first and second accumulation containers. The second accumulation container is configured to receive an amount of blood treatment fluid to act on the flexible member and thus pump blood from the first accumulation container.

摘要: A device for preventing axial movement of an elongated member (1) applied through the skin of a mammal at a puncturing position has a plaster (2) designed to cover the surface around the puncturing position and having at least an adhesive layer (4) for securing it to the skin as well as an opening (9) through the layer thereof for the passage of said elongated member therethrough. The device also has a clamp (8) secured to plaster and adapted to clamp around the elongated member when the elongated member is applied to the skin and the plaster is applied on the surface around said puncturing position. The clamp is thin and substantially flat.
