摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product for providing two-way web service interaction crossing different enterprise domains is presented. A web service gateway provides data tunnels for directing web service requests and responses between a first endpoint, a second endpoint and the web service gateway, wherein the first endpoint is located in a different enterprise network than said second endpoint. A Service Local Registry is maintained at the gateway, the Service Local Registry exposing Web Service Description Language (WSDL) interfaces of the first endpoint and the second endpoint.

摘要: Method and apparatus for managing connections and state transitions between a mobile wireless device and a wireless network are described. The mobile wireless device measures network characteristics of radio sectors in the wireless network and saves the measured network characteristics in a database, later retrieving the network characteristics and determining data inactivity timeout values for the radio sector. The mobile wireless device manages connections and state transitions based on the determined data inactivity timeout values. The database of network characteristics is organized by geographic location.

摘要: An imaging device that includes a control unit is provided. The control unit switches between a day mode and a night mode. In the day mode, image capture is performed while an infrared cut filter is placed on an optical path, and in the night mode, image capture is performed while the infrared cut filter is removed from the optical path. Immediately after shifting from the day mode to the night mode, in the night mode, as the amount of incident light decreases, the control unit increases an irradiation intensity of an infrared irradiation portion from zero while a gain is maintained at a first gain value. When the amount of the incident light further decreases after the irradiation intensity reaches a maximum, the control portion increases the gain from the first gain value.

摘要: A technique is provided for processing a physiological signal to compensate for artifacts. The technique includes identifying artifacts within the physiological signal. The technique also includes performing one or more multi-resolution decompositions, such as wavelet transformations, on the physiological signal and compensating for the identified artifacts in some or all of the respective decomposition components. The modified decomposition components may be reconstructed to generate an artifact-compensated signal which may be provided to a monitor or other device which is otherwise not configured to compensate for signal artifacts.

摘要: A capability is provided for reducing response variance of virtual processors. A controller receives a processing request. The controller may propagate the processing request toward multiple virtual processors hosted on multiple hardware devices contemporaneously. The controller may propagate the processing request toward a first virtual processor hosted on a first hardware device and propagate the processing request toward a second virtual processor hosted on a second hardware device based on a determination that a timeout period expires before a processing response is received from the first virtual processor. The timeout period may be determined based on one or more response time statistics of the virtual processor and one or more response time statistics of a physical processor.

摘要: In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a pilot signal from a terminal at a target antenna of the plurality of antennas of the network element, determining an uplink channel estimate for the target antenna based on the received pilot signal, and obtaining a calibration coefficient associated with the target antenna. The calibration coefficient is based on a channel estimate between the target antenna and a different one of the plurality of antennas. The method further includes beamforming a transmission to the terminal using at least the target antenna based on the determined uplink channel estimate and the obtained calibration coefficient.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for the automated updating of forwarding preferences for communications in a telecommunications network. In one embodiment, the network includes a wireless (e.g., cellular) network with user mobile user devices configured to detect a change to their configuration (such as a user changing out SIM cards or virtual access clients). In response, the device causes an update to its associated communication forwarding preferences to reflect the change. If the configuration alteration meets certain criteria (e.g., changes the phone number at which the device may be reached), the device sends a forwarding message instructing a network entity (e.g., routing server) to direct communications addressed to the old phone number to the new phone number. Thus, a user with two or more user profiles (such as two different carrier accounts) may be reached at any number associated with any of the profiles, even if only one profile is currently active.
