    摘要: A method and apparatus for relaying communications between a mobile device and a network access node is disclosed. In the method a connection is established between a first relay node of a group of relay nodes and the network access node to serve the mobile device. The mobile device is served by the first relay node and at least one second relay node of the group in wireless connection with the mobile device such that the mobile device remains connected to the network access node via at least one of the first and second relay nodes when one of the first and second relay nodes changes. To maintain the relayed communications for the mobile device after the change in the relay nodes control information is communicated by at least one of said relay nodes on an interface between relevant relay nodes in the group.

A method may include directing broadcast of an indication of a device-to-device registration area identification in each of one or more cells forming a device-to-device registration area identified by the device-to-device registration area identification. The method may further include directing receipt of a device-to-device registration request originated by a first terminal apparatus in response to the broadcast indication. The first terminal apparatus may be located within the registration area. The method may additionally include registering the first terminal apparatus based at least in part upon the device-to-device registration request. Corresponding apparatuses and systems are also provided.

    摘要: This document discloses transmission of a radio link failure control message in a situation where a control plane connection is established directly between a first access point of a cellular communication system and a terminal device of the cellular communication system and, additionally, a user plane connection is established between the first access point and the terminal device through a second access point. The radio link failure control message is transferred over the user plane connection during the radio link failure or proactively in an attempt to prevent the radio link failure.

    摘要: A method for radio access offloading is disclosed, wherein the method includes maintaining, in a user terminal pre-configuration information on integrated local area radio access offloading layers. In response to detecting an access point of an available offloading layer, the user terminal may activate a local area radio access offloading mode. The user terminal transmits, to the base station via the access point, an indication indicating that the offloading mode is activated, and receives, from the base station, a confirmation indicating that the activated offloading mode is accepted by the base station. The user terminal then decides, whether or not to switch to the available offloading layer, wherein if the user terminal decides to switch to the available offloading layer, offloading is performed via the access point.
