    摘要: A silver halide photographic material comprising a hydrophilic colloidal layer structure including at least two silver halide emulsion layers provided on at least one common side of a transparent support, wherein the average content of iridium compound per unit mol of silver in the silver halide emulsion layer on the side nearer to the support is greater than that of the silver halide emulsion layer located further from the support, and, characterized by at least one of (1) when exposed to laser light having a wavelength of 600 to 850 nm, the maximum value of .gamma. on the characteristic curve of optical density versus exposure (logarithm) is not more than 3.2; or (2) the average grain size of the grains in the silver halide emulsion layer located further from the support is greater than that of the grains in the silver halide emulsion layer located nearer to the support. Further, a process for the processing of a silver halide photographic material is provided, characterized in that the silver halide photographic material as defined above is used wherein the total coated amount of gelatin and silver on the side of the support having the silver halide layers are 3.5 g/m.sup.2 or less and 2.7 g/m.sup.2 or less, respectively, is conveyed at a line speed of 1,500 mm/min and all steps of development, fixing, rinse and drying are completed within 60 seconds in a roller type automatic processor.

    摘要: The present invention provides a photothermographic material having, on one side of a support, an image forming layer including at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent, and a binder, and at least one non-photosensitive layer which is disposed on the same side of the support as the image forming layer and farther from the support than the image forming layer, wherein the non-photosensitive layer includes at least a copolymer latex of an acrylate or methacrylate having a fluorine atom and a monomer component having a hydrophobic group, and the surface of the side having the image forming layer includes convex portions having a height of 1.5 μm or higher in an amount of from 20 to 2000 per 1 mm2. A photothermographic material which exhibits excellent film physical properties and high image quality is provided.

    摘要: A latent image of a medical image is recorded on a heat development photosensitive material. Development is carried out on the photosensitive material, on which the latent image has been recorded, and the medical image having multiple gradation levels is thereby obtained. The development is carried out at a heating temperature falling within the range of 120.+-.10.degree. C., at a width-direction temperature accuracy falling within the range of .+-.3.degree. C., and for a development time falling within the range of 5 seconds to 30 seconds. In the heat development technique, the processing time is thus set to be a practically acceptable short time, noise is reduced, and a medical image having good image quality is obtained.
