    摘要： This invention relates to a silver halide photographic element comprising a support bearing a cyan dye image forming unit comprised of at least one red sensitive silver halide emulsion, a magenta dye image forming unit comprised of at least one green sensitive silver halide emulsion, and a yellow dye image forming unit comprised of at least one blue sensitive silver halide emulsion; wherein the at least one green sensitive silver halide emulsion comprises two absorptance peaks, the first peak being between 515 and 540 nm (short wavelength peak) and the second peak being between 565 and 590 nm, (long wavelength peak) and wherein (a) the ratio of the absorptance peak value of the short wavelength peak to the absorptance peak value of the long wavelength peak is from 0.65 to 1.55; (b) the absorptance minimum between the two absorptance peaks is between 530 and 560 nm; (c) the ratio of the absorptance value at the absorptance minimum to that of the smaller absorptance peak is 0.86 or less; (d) the ratio of the absorptance at 490 nm to that of the highest absorptance peak is 0.60 or less.

    摘要： A silver halide photographic material is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein at least 80% of the entire projected area of the silver halide grains contained in said silver halide emulsion layer are occupied by tabular silver halide grains having an aspect ratio of 2 or more and main planes of {111} faces, said silver halide grains comprise at least 80 mol % of silver chloride, and said tabular silver halide grains are spectrally sensitized with the dye represented by formula (S); ##STR1## wherein Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 each represents a sulfur atom, a selenium atom, an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom; and V.sub.1 and V.sub.2 each represents a monovalent substituent, provided that V.sub.1 and V.sub.2 each does not represent an aromatic group and adjacent two or more groups represented by V.sub.1 or V.sub.2 are not bonded to each other to form a condensed ring; I.sub.1 and I.sub.2 each represents 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; L.sub.1, L.sub.2 and L.sub.3 each represents a methine group; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents an alkyl group; n.sub.1 represents 0, 1 or 2; m.sub.1 represents a number of 0 or more necessary to neutralize the charge of the molecule; and M.sub.1 represents a charge balancing counter ion, and further an image-forming method is disclosed, which comprises imagewise exposing and development processing the above silver halide photographic material.

    摘要： There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material having a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, which comprises a cyan dye-forming coupler represented by formula (I) and (a) a monodisperse silver halide emulsion, (b) non-photosensitive silver halide emulsion wherein the inside or the surface of grains is fogged, (c) a colloidal silver, (d) negative-type interval latent image-type silver halide grains chemically sensitized to a defined depth from the surface, (e) a sensitizing dye containing a sulfonamide group, (f) three separated layers of high, medium, and low sensitivities, (g) two separated layers each having different content of iodine, (h) grains each having a defined spectral sensitivity distribution and a DIR-hydroquinone, or (i) a DIR-hydroquinone: formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, R.sup.2 represents a substituent, X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon a coupling reaction of the coupler represented by formula (I) with the oxidized product of a color-developing agent, and Z.sup.1 represents a group of nonmetallic atoms required for forming a nitrogen-containing 6-membered heterocyclic ring, which contains at least one group capable of being dissociated.
