    摘要: Disclosed is a thin film radiation source, which may be used to deliver a radioactive dose to a site in a body lumen. The source comprises a thin flexible substrate, and a layer of radioisotope attached thereto. The source may further comprise additional layers such as one or more tie layers disposed between the substrate and the radioisotope layer and one or more outer coating layers. In one embodiment, the source is wrapped around an inflatable balloon. Inflation of the balloon at a treatment site positions the source directly adjacent to the vessel wall, and allows irradiation of the site following or simultaneously with a balloon angioplasty, stent implantation, or stent sizing procedure.

According to the method a problem table is used to relate a problem to one or more possible causes. A test table is used to identify tests to verify a possible cause of the problem and a toolkit is provided including equipment needed for carrying out tests. Using the method a technician can identify possible causes for a problem, identify the tests capable of verifying one or more causes and perform the tests to confirm the cause of the problem. In the event a cause is not confirmed the technician can investigate other possible causes.

    摘要: A high speed, automatic calibration system of laser (or other light source) sensitometers capable of a wide range of power measurements, of densitometers and of other optical power measuring systems, and particularly to an automatic gain scaling circuit for use in the same. The system measures optical power incident on a photodiode detector in the course of calibrating or using a sensitometer and automatically and rapidly selects the appropriate gain for the operational amplifier. An automatic gain scaling function performed in gain scale logic rapidly selects the proper gain of a transimpedance operation amplifier operating as a current to voltage converter and delivers an analog voltage signal within a range between an upper limit and a lower limit. An over range error signal is generated in response to an upper out of limit signal generated at the minimum gain set by said gain scale logic. A low resolution error signal is generated in response to a lower out of limit signal generated at the maximum gain set by the gain scale logic.
