Abstract: A system for critical time-based opioid monitoring system includes a physiological monitoring system having a sensor and a system processing board, a computing device configured to receive the parameters, an indication of normal conditions of a user under the circumstances at the time, such as, for example, a body transfer function or user physiological parameter model, to compare the monitored parameters to the normal conditions, and sending a notification when the monitored parameters deviate from the normal condition of a user. A system to monitor for an opioid event includes a physiological monitoring system comprising a sensor configured to monitor physiological parameters and a signal processing board, a computing device to detect an opioid overdose, and a device to stimulate a response when the computing device detects an opioid overdose event is occurring.

Abstract: A physiological patient monitoring system with a healthcare professional-facing interface is disclosed. The healthcare professional interface may only display by default the most critical non-confidential patient information. To access the full range of features in the system, clinicians can unlock the device. Once unlocked, clinicians can access all of a patient's treatment history, and all the data may be consolidated and presented intuitively.

Abstract: An overdose of opioids can cause the user to stop breathing, resulting in death. A physiological monitoring system monitors respiration based on oxygen saturation readings from a fingertip pulse oximeter in communication with a smart mobile device and sends opioid monitoring information from the smart mobile device to an opioid overdose monitoring service. The opioid overdose monitoring service notifies a first set of contacts when the opioid monitoring information.

Abstract: A physiological patient monitoring system with a patient-facing interface is disclosed. The patient interface can be used by the patient to communicate with hospital staff without actually requesting attendance and can request attendance for specific purposes. The patient interface may also track patient treatment and inform patients of the details of their treatments.

The opioid overdose monitoring service notifies a first set of contacts when the opioid monitoring information indicates a non-distress stats and notifies a second set of contact when the opioid monitoring information indicates an overdose event. The notification can be a phone call or text message to a specified person, emergency personnel, or first responders, and can include the location of the smart mobile device. The smart mobile device can also include the location of the nearest treatment center having emergency medication used in treating opioid overdose, such as naloxone.

Abstract: A computing system can facilitate continuously monitoring a patient having a wireless wearable device. The computing system can receive, via an in-room display device, a request to transfer wireless monitoring of the patient from the in-room display device to a mobile monitoring hub. The request can comprise identification data associated with a user requesting to transfer the wireless monitoring. The computing system can determine whether the user has permission to transfer the wireless monitoring based on at least the identification data. Responsive to determining that user has permission to transfer the wireless monitoring, the computing system can access wireless configuration data associated with the wireless wearable and received from the in-room display device. The computing system can wirelessly transmit said wireless configuration data to the mobile monitoring hub to cause the mobile monitoring hub to establish a wireless communication with the wearable device.

Abstract: System and methods are provided for augmented reality displays for medical and physiological monitoring. Augmented reality user interfaces are virtually pinned to a physical device, a location, or to a patient. An augmented reality position determination process determines the presentation of user interfaces relative to reference positions and reference objects. Detection of gestures causes the augmented reality users interfaces to be updated, such as pinning a user interface to a device, location, or patient. Looking away from an augmented reality user interface causes the user interface to minimize or disappear in an augmented reality display. An augmented reality gesture detection process determines gestures based on captured image data and computer vision techniques performed on the image data.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes a host device that is part of a patient monitoring system. The host device can provide an improved, organized, uncluttered, and graphically-rich display that presents an integrated display of real-time patient data and alarms from multiple integrated or non-integrated devices, such as patient monitors, ventilators, anesthesia gas machines, or intravenous (IV) pumps. The host device may provide a supplementary display for the patient data collected by the multiple devices and present information, such as comprehensive real-time patient status, historical trends, or alarm indicators, in an organized manner for particular clinical scenarios. The one or more displays can be central to a care team for a patient, and the care team can together simultaneously view and act upon the information presented.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed that enable an electronic device to instruct as user how to user one or more noninvasive sensors to measure one or more physiological parameters of a patient. In one embodiment, the measured parameters are used to obtain a diagnosis, such as a diagnosis of a critical congenital heart defect.
