Abstract: A system for critical time-based opioid monitoring system includes a physiological monitoring system having a sensor and a system processing board, a computing device configured to receive the parameters, an indication of normal conditions of a user under the circumstances at the time, such as, for example, a body transfer function or user physiological parameter model, to compare the monitored parameters to the normal conditions, and sending a notification when the monitored parameters deviate from the normal condition of a user. A system to monitor for an opioid event includes a physiological monitoring system comprising a sensor configured to monitor physiological parameters and a signal processing board, a computing device to detect an opioid overdose, and a device to stimulate a response when the computing device detects an opioid overdose event is occurring.

Abstract: A noninvasive blood pressure monitor. The noninvasive blood pressure monitor may include an inflatable cuff, a pressure transducer, one or more air pumps, and a processor. The processor may control the air pump(s) so as to initiate inflation of the cuff. The processor may also identify an oscillometric signal in an output of the pressure transducer, and may determine an envelope of the oscillometric signal. The processor may also determine one or more characteristics of the envelope of the oscillometric signal, and may control the air pump(s) so as to stop inflation of the cuff based on the one or more characteristics of the envelope of the oscillometric signal.

Abstract: A system for remotely monitoring and managing health statuses of a plurality of users includes software instructions storable on a memory device usable by a computing device, the software instructions causing a hardware processor of the computing device to receive a plurality of sets of health-related information from a plurality of mobile computing devices of a plurality of users. The health-related information includes physiological information derived from wearable devices of the users indicative of an onset of symptoms associated with an infection, contact tracing data, and diagnosis data. The hardware processor determines exposure levels based on at least the contact tracing data, and determines user-specific risk states based on physiological information, diagnosis data, and exposure levels.

Abstract: An overdose of opioids can cause the user to stop breathing, resulting in death. A physiological monitoring system monitors respiration based on oxygen saturation readings from a fingertip pulse oximeter in communication with a smart mobile device and sends opioid monitoring information from the smart mobile device to an opioid overdose monitoring service. The opioid overdose monitoring service notifies a first set of contacts when the opioid monitoring information indicates a non-distress stats and notifies a second set of contact when the opioid monitoring information indicates an overdose event. The notification can be a phone call or text message to a specified person, emergency personnel, or first responders, and can include the location of the smart mobile device. The smart mobile device can also include the location of the nearest treatment center having emergency medication used in treating opioid overdose, such as naloxone.
