    摘要: In this invention, a channel estimation value of data symbols of a data channel is calculated by weighting and averaging pilot symbols in a parallel time multiplexing method. Also, a channel estimation value of data symbols during each data symbol interval is calculated by dividing data symbols in a slot into a plurality of data symbol intervals, selecting pilot symbols suitable for calculation of a channel estimation value of data symbols during each data symbol interval and weighting and averaging that pilot symbols. Also, a fading frequency is detected based on an inner product value of pilot symbols. Weighting factors are changed based on the detected fading frequency. Also, a channel estimation value is calculated by weighting and averaging pilot signals using a plurality of weighting sequences. The calculated channel estimation value is used to demodulate received data. The output data with the highest quality is selected by judging reliability of these plurality of demodulated data. It is also possible to select some weighting sequences based on the result of the reliability judgment of the demodulated data for predetermined period of time. In this case, after the selection, demodulation is performed by using these selected weighting sequences only.

    摘要: The present invention maintains the utilization of resources even in spite of the presence of a large number of communications each requiring a large amount of resources under multidimensional traffic conditions. First, the current traffic is measured. Then, a threshold value is determined on the basis of the amount of resources requested. Then, the current traffic is compared with the threshold value. If the measured traffic exceeds the threshold value, it is determined that the request cannot be accepted. In contrast, if the measured traffic is equal to or smaller than the threshold value, it is determined that the request can be accepted, and a process of accepting the resource request is executed to end the entire process.

    摘要: A paging scheme for a mobile communication system which is capable of suppressing the power consumption of the mobile station by reducing the intermittent ratio while keeping an average time required for the paging shorter than a case of merely increasing a number of time-slots. Each base station transmits a paging channel on which a paging signal for each mobile station is transmitted at intermittent timings, where the paging channel has a data transmission rate higher than a required paging channel rate of the mobile communication system, so as to shorten a transmission time of the paging signal for each mobile station. Then, each mobile station judges a presence or absence of the paging signal for that mobile station by receiving the paging channel at these intermittent timings. The paging channel may have a data transmission rate which is variable. A number of time-slots provided in each frame of the paging channel can be increased so that an intermittent ratio at each mobile station becomes lower, without causing an increase of the average time required for the paging.

    摘要: In a message-transmitting station, a signal to be transferred is divided into a plurality of time slots, an error correcting/detecting code is added to each time slot, and a re-transmission sequence order number in unit of messages, a re-transmission number and an address designating ID of a terminal device are added to a specified time slot. Then, data of the time slots are transmitted from the message-transmitting station to a message-receiving station. In the message-receiving station, it is determined whether or not any order number is missing, by demodulating and decoding the data unit containing the re-transmission sequence order number and the address, and a re-transmission request signal is transferred in accordance with the result of the comparison between the sequence number included in the demodulated, decoded data unit and the sequence number received last as an indication of the condition in which the data in each data unit has reached the message-receiving station. Further, at least one of any specified and all of the time slots are re-transmitted from the message-transmitting station in accordance with the re-transmission request signal supplied from the message-receiving station.
