摘要： An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging device outputting, during a unit period of time, a long-exposure-time image signal having a relatively long exposure time and a short-exposure-time image signal having a relatively short exposure time; a first clipping processing mechanism clipping a part not lower than a first signal level of a luminance signal obtained from the long-exposure-time image signal; a second clipping processing mechanism clipping a part not higher than a second signal level of a luminance signal obtained from the short-exposure-time image signal; and a signal processing mechanism generating a synthesized image signal having a dynamic range wider than dynamic ranges of both of the image signals by synthesizing the clipped image signals, wherein the second signal level is not lower than a signal level obtained by dividing the first signal level by a ratio in time of the long exposure time to the short exposure time.

摘要： A washing apparatus includes a washing bath in which articles to be cleaned are washed. The washing bath contains a detergent of a kind containing a nonion surface active agent and a terpene-based solvent as principal components thereof. The articles to be cleaned are, after having been washed in the washing bath, immersed in a rinsing bath containing a rinsing water. The rinsing bath is provided with a recirculating passage extending from a portion of the rinsing bath back to another portion of the rinsing bath, a precision filter disposed on the recirculating passage and having a micro-porous membrane having an average pore size not smaller than 0.01 .mu.m, but not greater than 0.2 .mu.m, and an adsorbent filter containing a mass of activated carbon for substantially purifying the rinsing water which has been passed through the precision filter. The articles to be cleaned are first washed with the detergent of the specified kind and then rinsed within the rinsing bath. The rinsing water used for the articles is, after having been filtered through the micro-porous membrane, substantially purified by the adsorbent filter containing a mass of activated carbon.

摘要： A white balance adjusting device detects a change of color temperature for an illuminating light source from chrominance signals supplied from an image pickup device of a color video camera and controls gains of circuits of a chrominance signal processing circuit for processing red (R) signal and blue (B) signal in accordance with the detected signal to automatically adjust the white balance. The device has a circuit for generating a color temperature change detection signal from at least two different chrominance signals, a comparator/amplifier for amplifying a difference between the detection signal and a reference voltage, a tracking correction circuit to which the output of the comparator/amplifier is supplied and which produces two control signals, and gain control circuits for controlling gains for the red (R) signal and blue (B) signal in accordance with the two control signals. The color temperature change detection circuit, comparator/amplifier, tracking correction circuit and gain control circuits constitute a negative feedback loop.
