    Abstract: A suspension system for a vehicle is provided. A linear regenerative suspension system that converts mechanical energy into storable electrical energy is also provided. The system utilizes pistons, one on each side of the vehicle, engaged with a vehicle body at a distal end and having a fluid chamber at the proximal end. The system further has a central chamber having a rod freely laterally moving therein. A fluid communicates between the central chamber and each piston fluid chamber. Upon nonlinear forces applied to the vehicle, the rod is urged in one direction or another. This urging applies force to the fluid in the central chamber, and in turn, to the piston in the corresponding side of the vehicle, urging the piston up and in turn urging the vehicle body up.

    Abstract: A damper assembly for a suspension system of an associated vehicle. The damper assembly comprises a cylindrical tube extending along an axis and defining a chamber. A piston is located in the chamber and is moveable along the axis in a compression direction and a rebound direction. The piston includes a piston rod extending from a first end to a piston head. A rebound stop is located on the piston rod between the first end and the piston head. A hydraulic rebound stop (“HRS”) piston is located in a HRS chamber. A rebound spring biasing the HRS piston towards the adaptor plate in the HRS chamber. The piston rod is slideably received within the HRS piston in the rebound direction until the rebound stop contacts the rebound head and causes the rebound spring to compress.

    Abstract: The car suspension system of current invention comprises a damper for the absorption of the forces which is exerted on a vehicle's cabin. In this model, there is no need for a compressor, belt and a power output of an engine to produce coolness, however the force of the car suspension system is utilized; that is to say, damper and compressor juxtapose in parallel to the side of the spring system which aids to damp the vibration in order to maintain stability and provides a comfortable temperature in the car cabin on hot days at no cost and drawbacks which will be discussed later.

    Abstract: Provided are: a slide bearing configured so that degradation in sliding performance caused by the entry of dust, muddy water, etc. can be prevented at low cost; and a strut-type suspension using the slide bearing. A slide bearing (1) is provided with: an upper case (2); a lower case (3) joined to the upper case (2) in a pivotal manner and forming an annular space (5) between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3); and an annular center plate (4) disposed in the annular space (5). An annular lip (43) is formed integrally at the outer peripheral edge (423) of the flange (42) of the center plate (4). The lip (43) is in contact, while deflecting, with an annular protrusion (252) formed in an annular groove (24) in the upper case (2) and covers a thrust bearing surface (422) and a thrust supporting surface (251).

    Abstract: A damper housing disposed on a center axis includes an extended mains section and a narrowed end section. The narrowed end section has a second predetermined wall thickness less than the first predetermined wall thickness of the extended main section. An intermediate conical section, connecting the narrowed end section and the extended main section, has an intermediate conical section wall thickness equal to the second predetermined wall thickness at an internal inclination angle relative to the center axis. A method for manufacturing the damper housing using a preformed tube, a first broaching die, a calibrating mandrel, and a swaging die is performed by compressing the preformed tube between the first broaching die and the narrowed head of the calibrating mandrel and compressing the preformed tube between the swaging die and the intermediary section of the calibrating mandrel to form the narrowed end section and the intermediate conical section, respectively.
