摘要: A photoconductive plate for printing use having imaged and non-imaged portions. The plate comprises an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer including a photoconductive material comprising an organic photoconductive pigment and a binder comprising an alkaline soluble phenol resin. The photoconductive plate is subjected to heat treatment at a sufficiently elevated temperature prior to removal of portions of the photoconductive layer so that at least 80% by volume of the non-imaged portion of the photoconductive layer is removed when the photoconductive plate is subjected to treatment with a removing solution. A method for preparing a printing plate. An image is formed on a photoconductive layer and the non-imaged portion of the photoconductive layer is removed by treating the layer with a removing solution. The photoconductive plate is subjected, prior to removal of the non-imaged portion of the photoconductive layer, to an elevated temperature sufficient so that at least 80% by volume of the photoconductive layer is removed in the non-imaged portion when the photoconductive layer is treated with a removing solution.

摘要: A program development support system scans a program beforehand, extracts an essential process specification that should be actualized by an individual program and automatically extracts a part of the program that is not coincident with the process specification. A method of verifying an execution program executed by a computer for generating the execution program into blocks each including one or more processes and defined as a part of the program, which correspond to a verifying specification for verifying the program, generating a plurality of combinations of the two or more blocks as check route corresponding to the verifying the specification, and extracting the process corresponding to the verifying specification executed in a predetermined number or greater number of check routes, as a process specification that should be executed also in other check route.

摘要: There are disclosed a radiation image storage panel which comprises a stimulable phosphor layer on a support, wherein the stimulable phosphor layer has a fine pillar-shaped block structure, and a process of making a radiation image storage panel having a stimulable phosphor layer on a support, which comprises getting the stimulable phosphor layer having a fine pillar-shaped block structure. Scattering of the stimulation exciting light within the stimulable phosphor layer of the present invention can be markedly reduced since the stimulable phosphor layer has a block structure shaped in fine pillars, whereby it is possible to improve sharpness of the image. Also, radiation sensitivity and graininess of the image can be improved by enlargement of the stimulable phosphor layer without lowering sharpness of the image since lowering in sharpness of the image due to increase of the stimulable phosphor layer is little.

摘要: In a focal plane shutter of the kind having a plurality of divided blades pivotally arranged to be turnable on driving arms in an overlapped state, the weight of the blades is reduced by making them from very thin material; the blades are reinforced with embossed protrusions which are formed in the longitudinal direction of the blades for the purpose of preventing them from flexing and being damaged during their travel. Each of the embossed protrusions is within the difference in stepped height between the surfaces of the blades and the heads of blade carrying studs disposed on the driving arms. Therefore, the shutter can be smoothly operated without increasing the thickness of the blades as a whole.

摘要: The method for forming an electrostatic image according to the present invention comprises the steps of charging an electrophotographic photoreceptor, which is subjected to dark decay after the charging step, and effecting an exposure by activation light and an imagewise exposure on the electrophotographic photoreceptor. The exposure by activation light is effected prior to the imagewise exposure and in a step including at least a portion of the charging step or dark decay. This causes a remarkable sensitization effect in the electrophotographic photoreceptor, suitably adapted for use in an electrophotographic copying machine of a repeated transfer type.
