Abstract:
A body massage apparatus is provided with a housing. A massage unit is provided in the housing. A pair of laterally spaced apart air bladders is provided on the housing with the massage unit oriented between the air bladders.
Abstract:
A handheld massager is disclosed having a spring and dampener provided between a massage head portion and a handle portion of a massager. A massage mechanism is provided in the massage head portion for application of a massage effect to the user. Resulting shock and vibrations caused by the massage effect are absorbed and dampened by the spring and dampener for minimizing these effects upon the hand and wrist of the user. Additionally, variable vibrational contact surfaces and various visual therapy effects are disclosed in combination with the massage effect.
Abstract:
An assembly for converting a fluid flow includes a housing having an inlet end for receiving the fluid flow and an outlet end for issuing a converted and output fluid flow. One or more rotatable components are supported within the housing, in a path contacting the inlet fluid flow. A selected component exhibits a plurality of arcuate and flow conducting surfaces, such as which are arranged about a circumference of the rotating component. A fluid dampening element is operatively connected to the rotating component and restricts a rotational speed associated with the rotatable component, in response to rotational forces imparted by the inlet fluid flow, and in order to modify at least one of a flow and pulse rate of the fluid.
Abstract:
A massage apparatus is provided which includes a housing, a motor disposed within the housing, and at least one massage center provided on the housing. The massage center includes an outer massage member and an inner massage member, where the outer massage member at least partially circumferentially surrounds the inner massage member. The outer and inner massage members are operably connected to the motor for providing rotation of the massage members.
Abstract:
A shower handle water supply diverter system includes a water supply in fluid communication with a hose. A handle sprayer is in fluid communication with and extends from the hose. A water diverter is provided within the handle sprayer and is in fluid communication with the showerhead. The water diverter can be operated in three modes: handle sprayer only water expulsion, shower head only water expulsion, and simultaneous handle sprayer and shower head water expulsion. By placement of the first hose and second hose in proximity to provide thermal contact therebetween, stagnant water in one hose at ambient temperature exchanges heat with water flow at a particular temperature in a second hose to change stagnant water temperature towards the temperature of the water flow.
Abstract:
A foot therapy apparatus is provided having a bladder for retaining fluid. The bladder is sized and supported for receiving a user's feet thereon. The foot therapy apparatus may include various therapeutic features, such as a fluid pump for providing a fluid flow massage effect to the feet of the user. A heater may be provided for heating the fluid. The bladder may be translucent and LED's may be provided in a substrate that supports the bladder for conveying an illumination effect through the bladder.
