Abstract: Described here are devices, systems, and methods for treating one or more conditions (such as dry eye) or improving ocular health by providing stimulation to nasal or sinus tissue. Generally, the devices may be handheld or implantable. In some variations, the handheld devices may have a stimulator body and a stimulator probe having one or more nasal insertion prongs. When the devices and systems are used to treat dry eye, nasal or sinus tissue may be stimulated to increase tear production, reduce the symptoms of dry eye, and/or improve ocular surface health.

Abstract: An ophthalmic surgical instrument includes an instrument hand grip portion having an elongated configuration with proximal and distal ends, and a tip portion extending from the distal end. The hand grip portion includes a reservoir for containing an irrigation fluid and a button to selectively provide an irrigation fluid (i) through the instrument, or (ii) around the instrument when coupled with an irrigation sleeve arranged around the instrument. The tip portion has the form of an elastomeric element having a base secured to the distal end of the hand grip portion and a free end extending from the base. Abstract: An air massager includes an air turbine having an output and a pulsed air generator located downstream of the output. When the rotor rotates, when the first rotor aperture is aligned with the first stator aperture, none of the remainder of rotor apertures are aligned with any of the remainder of stator apertures, generating pulses.

Abstract: A hand-held massaging system includes a swivel coupling for removably attaching a massage tool to a reciprocating motor having a shaft having a stroke axis and a stroke length. The swivel coupling consists of a thrust journal and a cylindrical cup, an inner diameter of the cup providing a swivel bearing and bottom of the cup forming a thrust bearing. When the shaft reciprocates at a forced frequency, the thrust journal is retained within the cup by stick-slip friction that allows the thrust journal to swivel within the cup and to slip along the stroke axis. The thrust journal and cup attach between the massage tool and the shaft.

Abstract: A massaging device according to the present application includes: a plurality of brush-like stimulation units 3 attached to a lower surface of a body unit 2, the stimulation units 3 each having a plurality of protrusions 3a; and a drive means provided inside the body unit 2 for vibrating or oscillating the stimulation units 3. Because the tip ends of the stimulation units 3 are covered with the protective film 4, it is made possible to prevent the hair from getting entangled around the protrusions 3a of the stimulation units 3 when used for scalp stimulation, for instance, and to prevent the protrusions 3a from causing damages on the skin when excessive force is applied to the stimulation units 3.
