    Abstract: A system includes a non-transitory computer readable medium configured to store instructions thereon; and a processor connected to the non-transitory computer readable medium. The processor is configured to execute the instructions for generating a mask based on received data from a sensor, wherein the mask includes a plurality of importance values, and each region of the received data is designated a corresponding importance value of the plurality of importance values. The processor is configured to execute the instructions for encoding the received data based on the mask; and transmitting the encoded data to a decoder for defining reconstructed data. The processor is configured to execute the instructions for computing a loss based on the reconstructed data, the received data and the mask. The processor is configured to execute the instructions for providing training to an encoder for encoding the received data based on the computed loss.

    Abstract: A communication speed prediction apparatus (1) includes: a position prediction unit (111) for predicting a future positional relationship between first and second communication apparatuses (B, D); a speed prediction unit (112) for predicting the future communication speed between the first and second communication apparatuses by using a predicted result by the position prediction unit and a prediction model (PD) for predicting the future communication speed between the first and second communication apparatuses; an extraction unit (113) for extracting a training information from an information source (121) including information relating to a past positional relationship between the first and second communication apparatuses and information relating to a past communication speed between the first and second communication apparatuses; a training unit for training a parameter of the prediction model by using the training information; and a model update unit (115) for updating, by using the trained parameter, the prediction model used by the speed prediction unit, the model update unit changes, based on at least one of a state of the communication speed prediction apparatus and a state of the first and second communication apparatuses, an update frequency by which the prediction model is updated.

    Abstract: [Problem]In order to improve the likelihood of being able to continue delivery even during degradation of communication quality and improve the efficiency of use of the capability of a transmission path, even with hierarchical encoding having a small number of hierarchies, the present invention comprises: measuring the communication quality of the transmission path with a data receiving device; determining a hierarchical structure of hierarchical data on the basis of the results of measuring the communication quality; generating the hierarchical data of the hierarchical structure by hierarchical encoding of input data; and delivering delivery data of at least some hierarchies of the hierarchical data to the data receiving device.
