摘要： Systems, methods and apparatus for processing image data are described. One example method includes performing a conversion between a visual media file and a bitstream. The visual media file comprises image items each comprising a sequence of pictures according to a media file format, and the bitstream comprises access units each comprising one or more pictures each belonging to a layer according to a video coding format. The media file format specifies a suggested transition period of an image item to be applied for a transition between the image item and a next image item during displaying of the pictures as a slideshow.

摘要： An image encoding method includes: determining respective decoding times of a plurality of pictures included in a motion picture such that decoding times of a plurality of lower layer picture which do not belong to a highest layer of a plurality of layers are spaced at regular intervals, and decoding timing for each of the plurality of lower layer pictures is identical between a case where the plurality of encoded pictures included in the motion picture are decoded and a case where only the plurality of lower layer pictures are decoded, encoding each of the plurality of pictures included in the motion picture in accordance with the encoding order according to the determined respective decoding times, and generating an encoded stream including the plurality of encoded pictures and the determined respective decoding times for the plurality of pictures.

摘要： A video encoding system in which pixel data is decomposed into frequency bands prior to encoding. The frequency bands are organized into blocks that are provided to a block-based encoder that encodes the blocks and passes the encoded blocks to a wireless interface that packetizes the blocks for transmittal over a wireless connection. The encoder may categorize the encoded frequency bands into multiple priority levels, and may tag each frequency block with metadata indicating the frequency band represented in the block, the priority of the frequency band, and timing information. The wireless interface may then transmit or drop packets according to the priority levels of the encoded frequency blocks in the packets and/or according to the timing information of the frequency blocks in the packets.
