    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium for synchronization reference alignment. In a method, a server device obtains first information indicating at least one of: a role of a device of at least one device during positioning of a target device based on at least sidelink positioning reference signals, or quality of a plurality of links between the device of the at least one device and a plurality of positioning anchor devices for the positioning of the target device. Based on at least the first information, the server device determines a common synchronization reference source for synchronization of at least one of the plurality of positioning anchor devices.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to reference signal transmission alignment. In particular, a target device determines whether a reference signal transmission alignment is needed among a set of anchor devices. If the reference signal transmission alignment is needed, an anchor device receives a request for the reference signal transmission alignment. The anchor device determines a transmission time window based on the request and transmits a reference signal as per the transmission time window. In this way, it can mitigate an impact of synchronization timing reference change at the target device in measurement. Consequently, the solution allows for high accuracy measurements and hence enables high accuracy sidelink positioning.

    Abstract: In a system, apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for implementing SL DRX reconfiguration for SL groupcast based on congestion control, a UE device may be caused to, obtain sidelink (SL) groupcast configuration information associated with a desired UE group, the SL groupcast configuration information including a SL discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and at least one setting rule regarding the SL DRX cycle for the desired UE group, the SL DRX cycle including a SL DRX ON duration setting, determine whether a congestion level of the desired UE group for a current SL DRX cycle period exceeds a desired congestion threshold level, determine SL DRX reconfiguration settings based on results of the determining whether the congestion level exceeds the desired congestion threshold level and the setting rule, and perform SL DRX communication based on the determined SL DRX reconfiguration settings.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide at least for receiving information comprising at least one of a priority of a time synchronization reference (SyncRef) for sidelink data communications or a request of using a SyncRef for sidelink positioning; and determining, based on at least the information, the SyncRef for a sidelink positioning reference signal (PRS) transmission timing, a sidelink PRS reception; and performing at least one sidelink positioning measurement for one or more sidelink PRSs or transmitting information of one or more sidelink PRSs based on the determined SyncRef.
