Abstract: An electronic circuit for operating with a display panel including touch sensors and fingerprint sensors is provided. The electronic circuit includes a first circuit, a second circuit, a third circuit, a first switch circuit and a control circuit. The first circuit generates display driving signals for driving the display panel. The second circuit receives fingerprint sensing signals from the fingerprint sensors. The third circuit determines a touch information according to touch sensing signals from the touch sensors. The first switch circuit includes a plurality of first switch units, each of the first switch units includes a first switch element and a second switch element. The control circuit controls the first switch circuit to transmit the display driving signals in a first time interval, controls the first switch circuit to transmit the fingerprint sensing signals in a second time interval, and controls the third circuit to receive the fingerprint sensing signals in a third time interval.

Abstract: A panel device includes a touch sensor, a first light sensor and a second light sensor, a first trace, a second trace and a control circuit. The touch sensor is disposed in a first area of the panel device to generate a touch sensing signal. The first light sensor and the second light sensor are disposed in a second area of the panel device to sense ambient light and generate a first light sensing signal and a second light sensing signal. The first trace is coupled to the first light sensor. The second trace is coupled to the second light sensor. The control circuit connects the first trace and the second trace and receives the first light sensing signal and the second light sensing signal at the same time to determine an ambient brightness. Sensitivities of the first light sensor and the second light sensor are different.

The subset of fingerprint sensing lines is selected based on the at least one boundary of the fingerprint sensing zone. An electronic device and a method for sensing at least one fingerprint imprint from a panel are also provided.

Abstract: Provided are a fingerprint identification method for a panel, an electronic device and a control circuit. The method includes setting voltages on the data lines and sensing lines that may affect a fingerprint identification result to a predetermined DC voltage during a predetermined time period before a start of a fingerprint identification period that follows a display driving period. As such, when a display driving operation and a fingerprint identification operation are performed in a time-division manner, the influence of the display driving operation on the fingerprint identification operation can be eliminated, that is, the influence on the fingerprint identification result from the voltage on the data line and sensing line can be eliminated.

Abstract: A fingerprint sensing apparatus includes a plurality of fingerprint sensors and a fingerprint readout circuit. The fingerprint sensors may be configured to operate in a fingerprint sensing cycle. The fingerprint readout circuit may be coupled to the plurality of fingerprint sensors via a plurality of sensing lines. The fingerprint readout circuit may be configured to control the fingerprint sensors to operate in the fingerprint sensing cycle. The fingerprint sensing cycle includes an initialization period, an exposure period and a readout period. A voltage of a reset node in each fingerprint sensor among the plurality of fingerprint sensors is reset to a first voltage in a reset period after the fingerprint sensing cycle ends. The voltage of the reset node in each fingerprint sensor is initialized to an initial voltage in the initialization period. The initial voltage is different from the first voltage.
