    Abstract: In a lacing module, one gear of a worm wheel gear and a clutch gear includes a protrusion, and another gear of the worm wheel gear and the clutch gear includes a recess. The worm wheel gear meshes with a worm gear rotatable together with a shaft of a motor. The clutch gear is fixed to a spool shaft portion of a spool around which a string can be wound. The protrusion protrudes in a direction between the one gear and the another gear. The recess is recessed in the direction between the one gear toward and the another gear. At least an end of the protrusion protruding from one gear to the other gear in a vertical direction is fitted into the recess.

    Abstract: A spool includes a shaft, a trunk, and a connection connecting the shaft and trunk. The shaft rotates around a central axis. In the trunk, a string is wound on a radially outer surface. The trunk has a flange, and a recess recessed axially upward from a lower surface of the trunk. The flange protrudes radially outward from a lower end of the trunk. The connection is disposed inside the recess and engaged with the trunk in a circumferential direction and a lower surface is connected to the shaft. The connection has a groove recessed axially downward from an upper surface of the connection and is disposed with the string, and an engagement claw disposed in an upper end of the connection. The trunk has an engagement portion disposed on a radially inner surface of the recess and engaged axially with the engagement claw.

    Abstract: A spindle motor includes a stationary unit and a rotating unit. The rotating unit is rotatable with respect to the stationary unit in a state in which the stationary unit is aligned with a central axis. The stationary unit includes a stator core and coils. The stator core includes a cylindrical core back and teeth units extending radially outward from an outer circumferential portion of the core back. The coils are defined by a conductive wire wound around each of the teeth units. The rotating unit includes a magnet located radially outside the teeth units. An axial length of the magnet is shorter than an axial length of the teeth unit. A first angle corresponding to a circumferential width of the teeth unit is smaller than a second angle corresponding to a circumferential gap between the adjacent teeth units.

    Abstract: A rotary drive apparatus rotates a flywheel that holds a mirror and a lens. An accommodating portion of the flywheel, in which the lens is arranged, includes a slanting surface radially inside of the lens and below a light path of reflected light, and slants radially outward with decreasing height, an outer wall portion opposite to the slanting surface, and a window portion structured to pass through the outer wall portion and to allow the base portion of the lens to be inserted therein. A shortest distance, measured along a normal to the slanting surface, between the slanting surface and a portion of an inner surface of the outer wall portion above the window portion is greater than a thickness of the base portion measured in a radial direction. A dimension of the window portion measured in a vertical direction is greater than a dimension of a portion of the base portion inserted in the window portion measured in the vertical direction. The dimension of the window portion measured in the vertical direction is smaller than a dimension of a projecting portion of the lens measured in the vertical direction.
