The present invention provides a method and apparatus for allocating feedback transmission resource and a method and apparatus for providing information on values thereof. According to the method of allocating feedback transmission resource, the feedback transmission resource is divided into a plurality of resource units, and the method can comprise receiving information on values of the plurality of resource units for the mobile stations; determining values of possible resource allocation status in each bidding round for the mobile stations from the received information on the values based on the sequential second price auction; and deriving an auction process of the resource units from the determined values of possible resource allocation status in each bidding round based on the sequential second price auction, so as to obtain a final resource unit allocation result for the mobile stations. With embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to improve performance in sum channel capacity and at the same time it can achieve preservation in fairness among MSs. In preferred embodiments of the present invention, the feedback transmission resource can be optimized between at least two kinds of feedback information such as channel station information and intercell interference information, which will further improve the system performance.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for indicating downlink channel measurement and a method and apparatus for performing channel measurement. The method for indicating downlink channel measurement comprises: receiving information on interferes of a user equipment; generating, based on downlink subframe configuration information, a downlink channel measurement indication for each of possible combinations of the interferers, wherein the channel measurement indication is adapted to indicate a subframe group to be measured by a user equipment; and sending the downlink channel measurement indication to the user equipment so as to indicate the user equipment to perform corresponding downlink channel measurement. According to embodiments of the present invention, the subframe groups that are required to be measured by the user equipment may be determined with respect to possible combinations of interferers corresponding to different levels of interference. Thus, the user equipment may perform channel measurement for respective subframe groups. Therefore, the channel quality as determined in such way will be more accurate and reliable and better match the actual channel condition. Moreover, it also provides a possibility for the serving node to perform the scheduling more accurately and effectively.

The present invention discloses a method and apparatus of performing outer loop link adaptation (OLLA) operation. This method may comprise: accelerating in an initial probing phase, increase of an OLLA scaling factor until obtaining a negative result regarding codeword selection; and fine modifying, in a fine modification phase, the scaling factor using an upturn factor and a downturn factor in response to the result regarding codeword selection so that a channel quality indication, which is modified using the scaling factor, is matched with its actual value. Compared with the prior art, the technical solution as provided in the present invention can quickly modify a CQI to match its actual value, thus this solution may effectively mitigate the CQI mismatch, improve the CQI feedback accuracy, and further enhance the cell throughput performance and frequency utilization.

The method comprising receiving a channel quality indicators (CQI) of a cross-subframe from user equipment (UE), wherein the cross-subframe is a downlink subframe that is interfered by an uplink subframe in a neighboring cell; determining if the UE should be scheduled during cross-subframes based on at least the CQI; scheduling the UE during the cross-subframes if the UE is determined to be scheduled. By means of measuring and reporting CQIs on cross-subframe at UEs, base stations may determine more accurately if interferences at the cross-subframes are severe enough and if resources should be scheduled at the cross-subframe.

The method may comprise: performing a central-symmetrical preprocess on a receive vector by exploiting a central symmetry of the primary synchronization signal; and performing, based on the central-symmetrical preprocess, a non-coherent detection on the receive vector using local primary synchronization signals so as to detect the primary synchronization signal. The computation complexity in PSS detection may be significantly reduced by performing preprocess to the receive vector based on the central symmetry of the primary synchronization signal, thereby considerably enhancing the speed and performance of PSS search and further improving the cell search efficiency.
