    摘要: In the working machine wherein the output of an engine generator is directly supplied to a motor for travel without using the intermediary of a battery, preventing the engine from slowing down. The generator G is directly connected to the motor 7 and there is no battery that stores the output of the generator G. CPU 102 decreases the power supply for the motor 7 when it has been anticipated that the engine revolutions will be decreased. The number of the engine revolutions is detected according to the period of the waveform of an output of the generator G. The alternating current waveform that has been drawn out from one phase of the winding of the generator G is shaped into a rectangular waveform. CPU 102 detects the period of the shaped waveform. When the detected period has become larger, the CPU 102 determines that the engine revolutions is about to decrease.

    摘要: In a power-transmission control mechanism for controlling transmission of power from an internal combustion engine of a lawn mower to mowing blades, a controller for an electromagnetic clutch periodically repeats: reading detected engine rotational speed during a predetermined time, when an operating switch is turned on; comparing present engine rotational speed read in the present cycle with previous engine rotational speed read in the previous cycle; engaging the electromagnetic clutch when the present engine rotational speed is equal to or higher than the previous engine rotational speed; and disengaging the electromagnetic clutch when the present engine rotational speed N is lower than the previous engine rotational speed. Thus, the power of the engine is reliably transmitted to the mowing blades without occurrence of engine stall and without being influenced by the load following characteristic of the engine, the clutch, and load fluctuation.

    摘要: In a travel-driving mechanism for a self-propelled working machine such as a self-propelled lawn mower travels by using power of an electric motor 30, the torque of a driving shaft 50, which is driven by the power of the electric motor 30 through a power transmission unit 40, is transmitted to travel-driving wheels 7 through two-way or bi-directional clutches 55 provided at both ends of the driving shaft 50. Power transmission units 61, 62 are provided between the bi-directional clutch 55 and the driving wheels 7. A travel control unit 70 is provided to input an instruction signal produced by the operation of a travel operation member 66, which is operated by the operator, and to control the electric motor 30. When a travel stop signal produced by the operation of the travel operation member 86 is input to the travel control unit 70, short-circuit stop (short-circuit braking) occurs while electric power is being supplied to the electric motor 30, and the driving shaft 50 connected to the electric motor 30 stops. Since the travel driving wheels 7 rotate due to inertia, the bi-directional clutches 55 are brought into disengaged state. The operator can thus easily pull and push the working machine after the travel by the driving source or after the stop thereof, by using a simple structure in which the bi-directional clutch is used for transmitting travel power.

A load control mechanism for the working machine has a maximum working output calculator that calculates a maximum working output Qf from the designated engine rotational speed, an actual working load calculator that calculates an actual working load Qr from the designated engine rotational speed Nf and a detected actual engine rotational speed Nr, and a limit speed calculator that calculates a limit speed Vc from the maximum working output Qf and the actual working load Qr. A travel controller operates and controls the electric motor 30 by setting a travel speed V to the limit speed Vc when the actual engine rotational speed Nr is decreased to be lower than the designated engine rotational speed Nf. The travel speed of the working machine is automatically controlled so that the working load is calculated from the driving condition of the internal combustion engine to ensure the working load to be appropriate. Thus excellent finish of the working is maintained and the operator is relieved from burden.
