Abstract:
A top or bottom mounted, in-line, in-tank return line filter element is mounted in a hydraulic reservoir. The reservoir includes a holding tank, at least one outlet extending from and one return line extending to the reservoir, an in-tank return line within the reservoir and extending to one return line, and an in-tank return line filter element mounted within the in-tank return line. The in-tank return line filter element includes an end cap, a filter media and a by-pass valve coupled thereto. The end cap includes a central fluid opening, a mounting surface for the filter media, and a peripheral attaching mechanism for attaching the filter element to the in-tank return line to form a filter assembly. The mounting surface is positioned between the central opening and the attaching mechanism such that an in-line, in-tank filter element is provided.
Abstract:
A filter device, having at least one filter clement (3) which can be received in a filter housing (1) and having a holding device (19) which serves for detachably fixing said filter element in the filter housing (I) and which has corresponding threads (23, 33) for forming a screw connection which acts between a housing cover (5) of the filter housing (1) and the filter element (3), wherein a sealing device (29, 35) is provided which imparts a sealing action between the filter element (3) and the housing cover (5), wherein the screw connection is formed by threads (23, 33) situated at least partially in the interior (22) of the respective filter element (3), wherein the thread (33) assigned to the filter element (3) is situated on a connecting pipe piece (31) which, as a constituent part of an end cap (17) of the filter element (3), extends into the inner filter cavity (22) of said filter element (3), wherein the thread (23) assigned to the housing cover (5) is situated on a receiving pipe piece (21), which can be screwed to the connecting pipe piece (31) of the filter element (3), on the housing cover (5), is characterized in that the receiving pipe piece is formed by a separate component in the form of a pipe part (21) which is attached to the housing cover (5).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a filter element for a filter device, having at least one filter housing (3; 4), wherein the filter element (1) comprises a receiving part (19) which, when the filter element (1) is located in the filter housing (3; 4) in the operational position, comes into fluid communication with a housing part (17; 18) of the filter housing (3; 4), which forms a fluid connection (9). The invention is characterized in that the receiving part (19) of the filter element (1) has an inner, first guiding path (37) for sealing contact to the housing part (17) of the filter housing (3) according to a first mode of construction and an outer, second guiding path (51) for sealing contact to the housing part (18) of the filter housing (4) according to a second mode of construction.
Abstract:
A filter device includes a filter housing (10) in which at least two filter elements (12, 14) with differing filter grades of filter material (16) are arranged. The filter elements are partially separated from each other by a separating device (18), with a through channel (24) of predetermined cross-section for a hydraulic connection between neighboring filter chambers (20, 22),. The filter chambers arranged prior to the filter materials (16) in the flow direction of the fluids for filtering. The filter device permits a combination of main- and side-stream filters in the smallest possible space, whereby very good purity levels for the filtered fluid are nevertheless achieved.
Abstract:
A filter device has a housing with connections for a fluid and can be secured to a filter pot. The filter has a filter element secured by a holder. A closure prevents the undesired leakage of fluid. The closure has two sealing plates with at least partly bound openings in mutually staggered array in two different planes. The openings can be mutually moved under the effect of a power store for closing or opening the openings. As the filter pot is moved further away from the housing, the closure gradually seals at least one of the connections and/or the filter pot off from the environment. The filter device has a universally usable closure which can be economically produced, requires little space inside the device and operates reliable.
Abstract:
A device for mounting a filter element is located in a housing. The housing is sealed on its outside wall in contact with a mounting member. The mounting member is mounted on an inside partition of the container by a sealing connection. This sealing connection has a sealing element inserted between sealing surfaces of the mounting member and the inside partition. A holding device for fixing the position of filter element in the housing incorporates a pressure element which engages the filter element to secure the filter element against rotational movement relative to the housing.
