    Abstract: The invention relates to a filter device with a filter element (1) which can be received in a filter housing that consists of at least two interconnectable housing parts (17, 19). The filter element (1) can be fixed to a housing part (19) in a removable manner by means of a screw connection (32, 33), and an additional screw connection (17, 41) is provided for connecting the housing parts (17, 19). The invention is characterized in that in order to transmit a torque between threaded elements (33) of the screw connection (32, 33) and of the additional screw connection (41), said threaded elements being rotatable relative to each other, a coupling device (43, 46, 61) is added which allows an additional rotational movement of the threaded element (17) of the additional screw connection (41) when the threaded element (33) of the screw connection (32, 33) reaches the fixed rotational state.

    Abstract: A filter comprising a filter housing, a removable housing cover closing the housing during operation, a liquid inlet, a filtered liquid outlet, an exchangeable filter cartridge separating a raw side of the filter from a clean side, and a filter bypass valve comprising a valve seat and a valve body movably guided relative to the valve seat and biased in a closed direction. The valve seat is fixed in or on the housing cover, the valve body and a spring pre-loading the valve body in the closed direction are guided in or on the housing cover and are fixed to the cover. The filter cartridge has a spring support, such that when the cartridge is installed in the filter and the housing cover is attached to the housing, the end of the spring facing away from the valve body is supported and pre-stressed via the spring support.

    Abstract: A filter device has a filter element (3) received in a filter housing (1) and has a holding device (19) for detachably fixing the filter element in the filter housing (1). Corresponding threads (23, 33) form a screw connection between a housing cover (5) of the filter housing (1) and the filter element (3). A sealing device (29, 35) imparts a sealing action between the filter element (3) and the housing cover (5). The screw connection is formed by threads (23, 33) situated in the interior (22) of the filter element (3). The thread (33) assigned to the filter element (3) is situated on a connecting pipe piece (31) that, as a constituent part of an end cap (17) of the filter element (3), extends into the inner filter cavity (22) of the filter element (3). The thread (23) assigned to the housing cover (5) is situated on a receiving pipe piece (21), which can be screwed to the connecting pipe piece (31) of the filter element (3). The receiving pipe piece is formed by a separate component in the form of a pipe piece (21) attached to the housing cover (5).

    Abstract: A filter element may include a tubular member, including a first end portion, with the first end portion being substantially open, at least partially defining an inlet port configured to provide flow communication into a first chamber of the tubular member, and at least partially defining an outlet port configured to provide flow communication from a second chamber. The tubular member may further include a second end portion, with the second end portion being located at an end of the tubular member opposite the first end portion. The tubular member may also include at least one outlet aperture, at least one inlet aperture, and a vent tube extending longitudinally between the first end portion and the second end portion. The vent tube may be configured to provide flow communication between the first end portion and the second end portion of the tubular member.
