    摘要: An approach sensor 2 is provided to give a signal to a control device, that is, CPU 1, when the approach sensor 2 detects an operator approaching a region predetermined in consideration of a region where a ram 20 is driven. The CPU 1 is operated in response to the signal from the approach sensor 2 to turn a relay 6 off, thereby to intercept the power supply to a servo motor 8 from a power source, wherein the servo motor 8 is controlled to return the ram 20 to an operation point when an instruction is given from an operating device 4 to turn the relay 6 on to supply the power to the servo motor 8 from the power source.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus having a reduction layout function has as its object to suppress any image degradation in recompressed image data. To achieve this object, an image processing method of this invention has the following arrangement. More specifically, an image processing method of generating reduced layout image data by using a plurality of image data as configured image data includes a step (step S1008) of decoding the plurality of configured image data which are compressed by using individual compression parameters, a step (step S1007) of extracting, on the basis of the compression parameters of the plurality of configured image data, a common compression parameter to compress the plurality of configured image data and assigning the common compression parameter, a step (step S1009) of recompressing the plurality of configured image data by using the assigned common compression parameter, and a step of compositing the plurality of recompressed configured image data as image data in a single page (step S1010) and outputting the image data (step S1012).

    摘要: This invention provides the following environment. That is, an original document file corresponding to a document to be copied is specified from image data of that document to be copied, and a print process is made based on the specified file so as to prevent deterioration of image quality. Also, when a document to be copied is not registered, a registration process is executed to suppress deterioration of image quality in an early stage. Furthermore, since the document is converted into vector data, re-use of such document is facilitated, and deterioration of image quality can be suppressed even when an image process such as enlargement or the like is made. To this end, when an original digital file cannot be specified, an apparatus of this embodiment executes a vectorization process (S54), converts the obtained vector data into a data format that can be re-used by an application (S55), and registers the converted file in a file server (S56). With this registration process, since the location of the file is settled, that location information is composited on an image to be scanned using an identifier such as a two-dimensional barcode or the like (S48), and the composite image can be printed (S49). Even when the printed document is scanned again, a registered digital file can be easily specified.
