    摘要: A preferred embodiment ankle brace includes a foot plate and opposing uprights extending upward from opposite sides of the foot plate. Cleats protrude downward from the bottom of the foot plate. The ends of the junctions between the uprights and the foot plate curve outside the planes defined by the respective uprights and the foot plate. The foot plate and uprights are symmetrical about a plane of symmetry which extends perpendicularly between the opposite sides of the foot plate. A lateral side panel is rotatably connected to one upright, and a medial side panel is rotatably connected to the other upright at a relatively greater distance away from the foot plate. Flat, oval-shaped bearing surfaces are disposed on abutting sides of respective uprights and side panels. Pads are secured within the side panels and ventilation channels and holes are formed in the pads.

    摘要: An extractor-type surface cleaning machine includes a base or foot having a suction nozzle and a handle that is pivotally coupled to the foot and moveable between upright and inclined positions. The recovery tank is removably securable to the foot and fluidly communicates with the suction nozzle and the accessory. The recovery tank defines a collection chamber and a passage having an inlet in communication with the suction nozzle and an outlet. A valve member is moveable between a closed position substantially covering the outlet and an open position. Movement of the handle to the upright position moves the valve member to the closed position to block the passage during cleaning with the accessory hose. Movement of the handle to the inclined position allows movement of the valve member to the open position so that suction from the collection chamber is communicated to the suction nozzle for floor cleaning.

    摘要: An extractor cleaning machine includes a base having a distribution nozzle and a suction nozzle, a suction source in fluid communication with the suction nozzle, a recovery tank removably coupled to the base and having a recovery tank handle, an extractor handle pivotally coupled to the base, and a supply tank coupled to the extractor handle for pivotal movement with the extractor handle with respect to the base. At least a portion of the supply tank is positioned above and over the recovery tank in a direction normal to a surface to be cleaned when the extractor handle is in an upright storage position. The supply tank is in fluid communication with the distribution nozzle to supply cleaning fluid to the distribution nozzle. The extractor cleaning machine is liftable by the recovery tank handle when the extractor handle is in the upright storage position.

A first plurality of conductive strips in the first layer forms a portion a first node of the capacitor and alternates with a second plurality of conductive strips forming a portion of a second node of the capacitor. A plate layer adjacent to the first layer has a third plurality of conductive strips forming a portion the first node. Each strip in the third plurality of conductive strips is adjacent to another strip forming a part of the first node. The strips in the plate layer extend along a second direction (X-direction) orthogonal to the first direction. A first via electrically connects a first conductive strip in the first plurality of conductive strips in the first layer to a second conductive strip in the plate layer.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for the calibration of current cells, whereby a current signal from each current cell may be generated by either a thermometer current cell, or a binary current cell. If generated by a binary current cell, then two or more replica binary current cells exist to form a group of binary current cells within two or more binary current cell sets. The current magnitude generated by each replica current cell of each binary current cell group is first calibrated to be substantially equal to each other. Next, the combined current generated by the replica current cell group is calibrated to be substantially equal to a magnitude of a temporary current signal, or a portion thereof. Subsequent less-significant binary current cell groups are similarly calibrated to the temporary current signal through the use of the previously calibrated, more-significant binary current cell groups.
