Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for wireless communications. For example, a process can include determining a subset of radio frequency (RF) sensing devices from a plurality of available RF sensing devices for performing an RF sensing technique for a target object. The subset of RF sensing devices may be determined based on a plurality of factors associated with the plurality of available RF sensing devices. The process can include transmitting, to at least one RF sensing device of the subset of RF sensing devices, at least one message instructing the subset of RF sensing devices to perform the RF sensing technique for the target object to obtain one or more characteristics of the target object.

Abstract: Techniques are provided in which changes to a bandwidth part (BWP) of a target user equipment (UE) are restricted during a processing window (PW) for measuring and processing reference signal (RS) resources. These BWP change restrictions may be implemented by employing any combination of (i) ensuring a serving base station will not reconfigure or switch the BWP during the PW, (ii) ensuring the UE suspends a BWP inactivity timer of current BWP, (iii) ensuring the numerology and/or bandwidth (BW) of the BWP do not change, and/or (iv) preventing a change to an overlapping spectrum between the BWP and a spectrum of the RS resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some systems may support the transmission of a predicted negative acknowledgment (NACK) indication for a downlink data message. In some cases, a base station may transmit a downlink data message to a user equipment (UE). The UE may perform a decoding process for the message. The UE may determine whether the decoding process is likely to fail during a first portion of the decoding process prior to completion of the decoding process. The UE may transmit a predicted NACK message to the base station prior to a feedback opportunity configured for the UE to transmit feedback based on a result of the completed decoding process. The base station may determine whether to retransmit the downlink data message based on the predicted NACK message, such that the predicted NACK message may reduce the latency associated with retransmission of downlink data messages.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for determining shared resources associated with one or more user equipments (UEs) for sidelink communications, including control resources and data resources. A first UE may transmit a sidelink request to reserve a subset of data resources to a second UE, and may monitor for one or more sidelink responses indicating a positive sidelink response to the sidelink request, a negative sidelink response to the sidelink request, or both. The second UE may transmit a positive sidelink response if it is available for a data transmission. A third UE may transmit a negative sidelink response if it objects to the data transmission. The first UE may determine, based on monitoring for the one or more sidelink responses, whether to transmit a sidelink confirmation indicating a reservation of the subset of the data resources to the second UE.

Abstract: Various aspects relate generally to the beam management procedures in wireless communications systems. Some aspects more specifically relate to the selection of beams for communications to and from a UE and a network entity based on quantized orientation information for a user equipment (UE). In some implementations, a network entity can use the quantized orientation information and a machine learning model to predict a set of beams that may be suitable for communications to and from the UE and the network entity, which may be a subset of the beams that the network entity can generally use for communications to and from the UE and the network entity.
