    Abstract: Method and apparatus for sidelink assisted interference cancellation. The apparatus receives a set of uplink transmission parameters of a second UE in a neighbor cell. The apparatus performs interference cancellation of an uplink transmission of the second UE on a downlink transmission received from a serving cell. The interference cancellation based at least on the set of uplink transmission parameters of the second UE. The apparatus may provide, to a base station, an indication indicating support for the interference cancellation.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to reduce interference caused by power leakage. A first user equipment (UE) or a base station may select communication resources for a sidelink communication based on a distance between UEs reserving frequency resources in a same time window. The first UE or the base station may determine a distance parameter between the first UE and one or more other UEs (e.g., including a second UE) reserving frequency resources within the time window. The distance parameter may represent a physical distance between the first and second UEs or a reference signal received power of the second UE as received by the first UE. The first UE or the base station may select communication resources based on whether the distance parameter is below a threshold, and the first UE may communicate the sidelink communication using the selected resources.

    Abstract: A transmitting user equipment (UE) may perform resource hopping for a periodic sidelink resource reservation by scheduling a plurality of periodic sidelink resources with a first periodicity, the plurality of periodic sidelink resources being shifted at a first offset in a frequency domain. The transmitting UE may reduce persistent collisions of periodic or semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) reservation of the sidelink resources with another UE. The transmitting UE may transmit, to a receiving UE, sidelink control information (SCI) indicating the first offset and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI. The receiving UE may receive, from the transmitting UE, the SCI and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI.
