    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide techniques for applying redundancy mitigation rules when transmitting sensor data sharing messages. A method, performed by a sidelink user equipment (UE), includes observing, via one or more sensors, a set of objects in an environment in which the sidelink UE is operating, applying one or more redundancy mitigation rules to the set of objects, determining, from the set of objects, a number of objects to be shared with one or more other sidelink UEs after the one or more redundancy mitigation rules have been applied to the set of objects, determining, based on the determined number of objects to be shared, whether to transmit a sensor data sharing message (SDSM) to the one or more other sidelink UEs indicating the objects to be shared from the set of objects, and taking one or more actions based on the determination of whether to transmit the SDSM.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for selecting a resource for a transmission of a self-contained inter-UE coordination message, wherein the configuration indicates an initial time interval, a step size for incrementing the initial time interval, and an available resource ratio associated with a resource selection window, and wherein the initial time interval is incremented by the step size until a quantity of available resources within the resource selection window satisfies the available resource ratio. The UE may select, based at least in part on the configuration, the resource for the transmission of the self-contained inter-UE coordination message from the quantity of available resources within the resource selection window. The UE may transmit the self-contained inter-UE coordination message via the selected resource. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some examples, a sidelink user equipment (UE) may be configured with one or more prioritization rules for sidelink resource reservation forwarding. The UE monitor for one or more sidelink messages that indicate a set of sidelink resource reservations associated with one or more other UEs. In some examples, the UE may receive a sidelink message and one or more other sidelink messages that indicate reservations of other sidelink resources associated with other UEs. The UE may select one or more sets of sidelink resources for indicating in a coordination message in accordance with the one or more prioritization rules for sidelink resource reservation and based on the sidelink messages. The UE may transmit the coordination message including an indication of the one or more sets of sidelink resources based on the selecting.

    Abstract: In an aspect, the disclosure provides a method of wireless communication for a first user equipment (UE). The method may include decoding, at a first user equipment (UE), sidelink control information (SCI) transmitted by a plurality of second UEs reserving a set of resources for sidelink transmission to the first UE. The method may also include detecting, at the first UE, a potential resource collision between the plurality of second UEs at the set of resources based on decoding of the SCI. The method may further include generating a pre-collision message that identifies the set of resources that are susceptible to the resource collision. The method may further include transmitting the pre-collision message from the first UE to the plurality of second UEs.
