Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide techniques for applying redundancy mitigation rules when transmitting sensor data sharing messages. A method, performed by a sidelink user equipment (UE), includes observing, via one or more sensors, a set of objects in an environment in which the sidelink UE is operating, applying one or more redundancy mitigation rules to the set of objects, determining, from the set of objects, a number of objects to be shared with one or more other sidelink UEs after the one or more redundancy mitigation rules have been applied to the set of objects, determining, based on the determined number of objects to be shared, whether to transmit a sensor data sharing message (SDSM) to the one or more other sidelink UEs indicating the objects to be shared from the set of objects, and taking one or more actions based on the determination of whether to transmit the SDSM.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, via sidelink communication, an inter-UE coordination request message requesting coordination information associated with selecting a first resource for transmitting data. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on receiving a negative acknowledgement associated with the inter-UE coordination request message or based at least in part on not receiving feedback associated with the inter-UE coordination request message within a time period, the data via a second resource that is selected based at least in part on sensing information obtained by the UE. The UE may select, based at least in part on the configuration, the resource for the transmission of the self-contained inter-UE coordination message from the quantity of available resources within the resource selection window. The UE may select one or more sets of sidelink resources for indicating in a coordination message in accordance with the one or more prioritization rules for sidelink resource reservation and based on the sidelink messages. The UE may transmit the coordination message including an indication of the one or more sets of sidelink resources based on the selecting.

Abstract: To provide more power efficient SPS transmission for sidelink UEs, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium are provided. An example method may include selecting a first sidelink transmission resource for SPS based on a sidelink sensing procedure for UE-to-UE communication, the first sidelink transmission resource being associated with one or more subchannels within one or more slots. The example method may further include initiating a timer based on a timer range, the timer range being based on one or more of a battery level or a mobility associated with the UE. The example method may further include reselecting a second sidelink transmission resource or maintain the first sidelink transmission resource for the UE-to-UE communication upon an expiration of the timer.

Abstract: In an aspect, the disclosure provides a method of wireless communication for a first user equipment (UE). The method may include decoding, at a first user equipment (UE), sidelink control information (SCI) transmitted by a plurality of second UEs reserving a set of resources for sidelink transmission to the first UE. The method may also include detecting, at the first UE, a potential resource collision between the plurality of second UEs at the set of resources based on decoding of the SCI. The method may further include generating a pre-collision message that identifies the set of resources that are susceptible to the resource collision. The method may further include transmitting the pre-collision message from the first UE to the plurality of second UEs.
