    Abstract: In various embodiments, a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) processing device detecting a misbehavior condition in a system of the vehicle, and prevent the vehicle from sending a V2X message related to the detected misbehavior condition in response to detecting the misbehavior condition in the system of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the V2X processing device may receive information from a plurality of information sources of the vehicle, and may detect the misbehavior condition in the system of the vehicle by performing a cross-check of information received from the plurality of information sources of the vehicle to detect an inconsistency within the received information.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for device to grid charge transfer. Certain aspects are directed towards a method for device to grid charge transfer. The method generally includes: receiving, from a controller associated with an electric grid, a request for charge transfer from a wireless communication device to the electric grid, wherein the request indicates a power requirement for the electric grid during a time period; sending a message indicating whether the request for the charge transfer is accepted based on the power requirement; and initiating the charge transfer from the wireless communication device to the electric grid during the time period when the message indicates that the charge transfer is accepted.

An example method may include identifying a set of non-malicious vehicles based on at least one of data associated with the set of non-malicious vehicles or communication from a second vehicle or a RSU. The example method may further include transmitting a request message to the set of non-malicious vehicles. The example method may further include receiving an acceptance message from at least one vehicle of the set of non-malicious vehicles.     Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for securely managing maneuver identifications (IDs) for vehicle-based communications. For example, a method may include transmitting a message associated with a potential maneuver by the vehicle, determining a maneuver identification (ID) for the potential maneuver based on the message, and transmitting a first maneuver message (including the maneuver ID) for the potential maneuver. In another example, a method may include receiving a first maneuver message including a maneuver ID, determining that the first maneuver ID is a new maneuver ID, and determining, based on the first maneuver ID being a new maneuver ID, whether the first maneuver ID matches a second maneuver ID determined based on a previously-received message. In another example, a method may include receiving maneuver messages that include a same maneuver identification (ID) and one or more source IDs and determining whether the source ID(s) of the maneuver messages match.

    Abstract: In various embodiments, a vehicle processing device may receive a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) message from an ITS participant, the message including an ITS participant type indication, determine detector settings based on the ITS participant type for one or more detectors configured to evaluate an aspect of the ITS participant, determine whether information in the V2X message is plausible using the detector settings based on the ITS participant type for the one or more detectors, and perform a security action in response to determining that the information in the V2X message is not plausible.
