Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating in a frequency band across multiple adjacent carriers are provided. A first wireless communication device performs first sensing in a first sensing time designated for a first channel, the first channel being an operational channel of the first wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device performs second sensing in a second sensing time designated for a second channel adjacent to the first channel, the second channel being an operational channel of a second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device communicates with a third wireless communication device in the first channel a communication signal in the first channel based on the first sensing and the second sensing.

Abstract: New radio (NR) unlicensed (NR-U) multi-channel access is disclosed for low-radio frequency (RF)-capable user equipment (UE). A base station may enable multi-channel access when single operator operations cannot be guaranteed within a shared communication spectrum. The primary and secondary channels are defined within the shared communication channel. The base station may then transmit a configuration message to one or more low-RF UEs that identifies the charnels and directs the UEs to monitor the primary channel for a successful listen before talk (LBT) indicator. The base station performs an LBT procedure on the primary channel and the secondary channel and signals the low-RF UEs to re-tune to the secondary channel for communication during a current transmission opportunity.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a base station to configure constraints on one or more transmission directions of a UE to reduce interference between UEs. In one aspect, a UE receives, from a base station, a grant for time-frequency resources for transmitting to a second UE, the grant including information indicating at least one of a first subset of beams of a set of beams for which the grant applies or a second subset of beams of the set of beams for which the grant applies with a constrained transmission power. The UE transmits, to the second UE, a PSSCH through at least one beam of the first subset of beams based on the received grant, or through at least one beam of the second subset of beams with the constrained transmission power based on the received grant.

Abstract: An on-demand scheduling request (SR) design is disclosed. Such an on-demand or triggered SR operation provides pre-configuration of user equipments (UEs) with triggered SR resources. Base stations may also configure UEs to monitor for a trigger signal within a bit field of control signaling from the base station. Upon detecting the trigger signal within such bit field, the UEs may use the triggered SR resources for transmitting triggered SR requests. Such use of the triggered SR resources may be in response to UEs detected cancelation of other periodic configured SR resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment may monitor for a transmission over a set of periodically scheduled resources (e.g., semi-persistently scheduled resources)) of a downlink shared channel in an unlicensed spectrum. The user equipment may receive the transmission, where the transmission indicates a channel access configuration (e.g., a listen-before-talk configuration) for accessing the unlicensed spectrum. In some cases, the transmission may include a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) that indicates the channel access configuration. The transmission may additionally indicate at least one uplink channel over which the user equipment may transmit a message and/or a channel occupancy time associated with a successful acquisition of the unlicensed spectrum by the base station. The user equipment may transmit a message (e.g., an acknowledgement) based on the channel access configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the disclosure describe using sidelink resources to identify possible interference (e.g., including cross-link interference) in a first resources used for communications between a base station and a user equipment (UE). With such techniques, a base station may transmit a conditional grant to a UE that schedules resources for the UE to use to communicate with the base station (e.g., either uplink or downlink). The UE may monitor sidelink resources to identify an indication of interference for the resources scheduled by the conditional grant. Different UEs may exchange messages or may transmit energy over the sidelink network to indicate resources are being used to communicate between base stations and UEs. The UE may transmit an acknowledgement or a negative acknowledgement to the base station indicating whether the resources scheduled by the conditional grant are to be used by the UE.

A user equipment (UE) may monitor a first control resource pool associated with sidelink control signaling during a first sensing window and monitor a portion of a second resource pool associated with sidelink data signaling during a second sensing window. The UE may perform joint resource selection on the first resource pool and the second resource pool based on the monitoring during the first and second sensing windows. The UE may transmit a sidelink control information message including resource indication fields to reserve the selected sidelink control channel resources and selected sidelink shared channel resources. The UE may transmit the sidelink data message on one or more of the reserved sidelink shared channel resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sidelink control information (SCI) message during a mini-slot of a control resource pool which is decoupled from a data resource pool for sidelink communications. The first SCI message may indicate a data message to be transmitted on a subchannel of the data resource pool to a second UE, where resources between the control resource pool and the data resource pool are mapped. The UE may receive a feedback message from the second UE for the first SCI message during a second mini-slot of the control resource pool. The feedback message may indicate whether a collision or strong interference was detected for the first SCI message. The UE may determine whether to transmit the data message or retransmit the first SCI message based on the feedback message.
