摘要: A head lamp for a motor vehicle is disclosed with a reflector for reflecting light. A light bulb is oriented within the head lamp and spaced apart from the reflector for providing illumination that is reflected from the reflector and out of the head lamp. A bulb shield is provided with a peripheral region displaced about the light bulb for preventing glare light from exiting the head lamp. In one embodiment, the peripheral region is a polygon that is not radially symmetrical. In another embodiment, the bulb shield has a rear opening and a front opening for minimizing heat within the bulb shield. In yet another embodiment, the bulb shield has a front opening and the light bulb front portion is coated with an opaque material for blocking glare light.

摘要: A combined fluid injection and inflation system is disclosed and includes a fluid delivery system including at least one pressurizing device, a fluid path, and a control unit. The fluid path is adapted to connect the pressurizing device to a patient via a catheter including a balloon and inserted in the patient. The control unit is operable to control the fluid delivery system. In operation, the control unit selectively actuates the fluid delivery system to operate in a fluid injection mode or in a balloon inflation mode. In the fluid injection mode the pressurizing device delivers fluid to the fluid path for a fluid injection procedure. In the balloon inflation mode, the pressurizing device delivers fluid to the fluid path for inflating the balloon associated with the catheter. An operator control may be connected to the control unit for controlling the fluid delivery system and may be a handheld device.

摘要: A system and method for reducing out-gassing, i.e. discharge or emissions, of corrosive vapors/gasses, such as Hydrogen Bromide, Hydrogen Chloride and/or Hydrogen Fluoride, from semiconductor processing equipment and processed semi-conductor materials, into the surrounding environment is disclosed. Out-gassing is the release of gases from the surfaces of a solid body. In the disclosed system and method, after the requisite semiconductor processing has completed, a radiant energy source, such as an ultraviolet light source is exposes the corrosive gas or processed semiconductor materials, e.g. wafers, while the gas or materials are still contained within the processing equipment. The ultraviolet light energy decomposes the corrosive gas into lesser corrosive components thereof, i.e. disassociates the molecules of the corrosive gas. The disassociated species may then combine into volatile molecules that may be evacuated through the pumping system to an exhaust system. The processing equipment can then be opened releasing fewer corrosive components into the surrounding environment.
