    摘要： A table may include a table top and one or more legs and the legs may be movable between an extended or use position and a collapsed or storage position. The table may include one or more cross bars and the legs may be attached to the cross bars. The table may also include a frame and the frame may include one or more side rails. The cross bars may be sized and configured to engage at least a portion of the table frame with a generally rigid connection when the legs are in the extended position and a loose connection with the legs are in the collapsed position. In addition, the table may include one or more connecting members that may be disposed towards the ends of the table. Advantageously, the connecting members and/or cross bars may securely support the table top and help prevent the table top from undesirably twisting or deforming if a load or force is applied to a portion of the table top.

A first pivotal support brace including a distal end and a proximal end attached to the first support pedestal. A second pivotal support brace including a distal end and a proximal end attached to the second support pedestal. The distal ends of the first and second pivotal support braces pivotally attached to a retaining assembly preferably mounted in relation to the table top. Specifically, the retaining assembly includes a cross-brace member operably disposed through openings formed in the distal ends of the first and second pivotal support braces, thus providing a pivotal engagement in relation to the table top. Alternatively, a second retaining assembly including a cross-brace member may be mounted in relation to the table top, wherein the distal end of the first pivotal support brace pivotally engages the first retaining member and the distal end of the second pivotal support brace pivotally engages the second retaining member. In addition, the first and second support pedestals may comprise at least one support leg, wherein each support leg of the first and second support pedestals are laterally offset from each other so as to permit an offset displacement of the support legs when the support pedestals are disposed in a collapsed position.

    摘要： A foldable picnic table is shown. The foldable picnic table includes a table top supported by two support pedestals pivotally attached to the table top. Each support pedestal is capable of telescoping engagement. The foldable picnic table also includes benches attached to the pedestals by bench support members. The foldable picnic table includes means for locking the table in an extended position. When the support pedestals are retracted, the pedestals and the attached bench supports can pivot inwardly toward the table top such that the entire unit is substantially flat.
