摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a container (2) from a thermoplastic, having at least one surround (4), provided in the container wall (1), for a container opening. The surround (4) comprises a structure behind which parts of the container wall (1) extend and/or which is penetrated by said parts. The method is carried out using a multi-part blow mold that has at least two mold parts, each having at least one cavity, wherein the surround is placed as an insert in the cavity (10) of the blow mold (7). The method comprises pressing the preform that has been forced into the cavity (10) into the structure of the surround (4) by means of a tool which is brought to bear on the preform (12) on the side of the preform facing away from the cavity (10).

摘要: A fuel tank baffle assembly is provided for installation in a fuel tank, the baffle assembly comprising a main body having a first end section, a second end section, and an intermediate section interconnecting the first and second end sections. Operably associated with the main body is at least one deployable auxiliary baffle structure. The auxiliary baffle structure is configured to be positioned in an undeployed state during installation into a fuel tank, thereby defining a first installation width of the baffle assembly. Following installation, the auxiliary baffle structure is deployed into an extended position, thereby defining an operational width for subsequent usage. The operational width is greater than the installation width.

摘要: A receptacle including a body configured to receive refuse items and a mated handle is disclosed. The handle includes a base plate and a gripping portion connected by one or more sidewalls. The back side of said base plate contains a projection to allow the handle to mate with the body of the receptacle. The projection includes two regions offset from each other so that, when the body of the receptacle is formed by blow molding, the body can fill around the projection, thereby securely attaching the two. The handle can further include a cinch so that if a liner is used within the body of the receptacle, there is a place to tie it off on the handle. Multiple handles can be mated to a single receptacle body.

摘要: In a synthetic resin blow molded bottle, reduced pressure absorbing panel portions and column portions are formed alternately in the circumferential direction. Each column portion has a diameter that gradually increases downward and that remains substantially constant vertically. Each reduced pressure absorbing panel portion includes a pair of panel side edge portions, which is bent to the inner side from the adjacent column portions, a panel surface portion, which connects the pair of panel side edge portions, and a panel lower edge portion, which is bent to the outer side from a lower end edge of the panel surface portion. The panel surface portion of each reduced pressure absorbing panel portion includes a panel upper-side surface portion, whose diameter gradually increases downward, and a panel lower-side surface portion, which connects the panel upper-side surface portion and the panel lower edge portion and which has a substantially constant diameter vertically.
