Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-dimensional mapping of binary data DNA sequences are described. In one embodiment, the method may include determining a current level of a first DNA base from a sequence of DNA bases based at least in part on a read process of the sequence, determining a current level of a second DNA base after the first DNA base and a current level of a third DNA base after the second DNA base, and decoding binary data from the sequence based at least in part on the determined current level of the first DNA base, the determined current level of the second DNA base, and/or the determined current level of the third DNA base.

Abstract: Systems and methods for timing recovery in DNA storage systems is described. In one embodiment, the present systems and methods include generating a unique pattern of DNA bases and use the unique pattern for a phase-locked loop (PLL) field of a data layout, generating a multidimensional mapping, configuring the multidimensional mapping to include one or more prohibited sequences of DNA bases, identifying a prohibited sequence from the multidimensional mapping and use the prohibited sequence for one or more synch-mark (SM) fields of the data layout, prohibiting a User Data field from using any of the prohibited sequences of DNA bases when converting binary data to DNA bases, identifying random insertion and/or deletion of DNA bases in the User Data field, and repairing the random insertion and/or deletion of DNA bases in the User Data field.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for improving data channel design by applying transform domain analytics to more reliably extract user data from a signal. In certain embodiments, an apparatus may comprise a channel circuit configured to receive an analog signal at an input of the channel circuit, and sample the analog signal to obtain a set of signal samples. The channel circuit may further apply a filter configured to perform transform domain analysis to the set of signal samples to generate a first subset of samples, the first subset including fewer transitions and having a higher signal to noise ratio (SNR) than the set of signal samples. The channel circuit may detect first bit transform domain representation values from the first subset, and determine channel bit values encoded in the analog signal based on the set of signal samples and using the first bit transform domain representation values detected from the first subset as side information.

Abstract: One or more networks each include a plurality of sensor nodes operable to communicate public data with each other. Each of the plurality of sensor nodes is operable to gather sensor node data and store the sensor node data locally on the sensor node. Duplicate portions of the sensor node data are distributed to the public data of others of the plurality of sensor nodes via the public data paths for backup storage. The system includes a host that is coupled to individually communicate private data with each of the plurality of sensor nodes. Each of the sensor nodes protects the private data from others of the sensor nodes using distributed key management to ensure distributed encryption.
