Abstract:
In order to generate multiple-access signals, each transmitter transmits information by using all or a part of channel resources. The signal of each transmitter is mapped to an OFDM time-frequency resource space as a trellis modulation path. A mobile communication system maps trellis modulation paths of a plurality of transmitters to the same resource space. In order to effectively detect and distinguish signals of a plurality of transmitters transmitted through the same channel resource space, a receiver uses a message passing method between symbols and a path connection method. The receiver uses a state space expansion method, a backward pre-decoding method, and a successive interference cancellation method to more efficiently reconstruct a discovery signal.
Abstract:
A 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE) is disclosed. The present disclosure relates to a rate compatible low-density parity-check (RC-LDPC) encoding method and device therefor. The encoding method includes using LDPC in a communication system, including the operations of LDPC encoding information bits by a first encoding rate, and performing a concatenated single parity check (SPC) encoding for the encoded bits by at least one second encoding rate lower than the first encoding rate.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for transmitting a packet in a system performing a Device to Device (D2D) direct communication are provided. In the method, whether to transmit a small packet is determined. When small packet transmission is determined, at least one peripheral reception device is informed of whether the small packet is transmitted at a scheduling point.

Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting messages using a channel combining/splitting transmission scheme for a 5G or pre-5G communication system. The method comprising: splitting the messages into a first part to be transmitted to a first channel, which is a degradation channel, and a second part to be transmitted to a second channel, which is an enhancement channel, generating first modulation signals by performing a channel encoding and frequency quadrature amplitude modulation on the first part and generating second modulation signals by performing a channel encoding and quadrature amplitude modulation on the second part, generating first transmission signals by combining the first modulation signals with a part of or all the second modulation signals and generating second transmission signals using the second modulation signals, and transmitting the generated first transmission signals and second transmission signals through the first channel and the second channel.

The present disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system to be provided for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4G communication system such as LTE. The present invention relates to a NOMA system based FQAM connection method and an apparatus therefor. The present invention can increase the user transfer rate at a cell boundary. The scheduling method in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises a step of receiving a signal-to-interference-noise ratio (SINR) value and an alpha value from a terminal; a step of determining, on the basis of the SINR value and the alpha value, a Gaussian SINR value; a step of pairing users on the basis of the Gaussian SINR value; and a step of re-computing MCS on the basis of a re-computed alpha value.
Abstract:
A method for allocating resources for Device-to-Device (D2D) communication in a transmitting terminal is provided. The method includes receiving broadcast resource allocation information for the D2D communication from a Base Station (BS), and measuring a channel quality of a downlink signal received from the BS and, if the measured channel quality is smaller than a predetermined threshold, conducting the D2D communication using the resource allocation information.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present invention relates to method and apparatus for performing a decoding with low complexity in a wireless communication system. A decoding method of a terminal in a wireless communication system comprises determining a first characteristic value indicating a statistical characteristic of an interference signal based on a received signal of a base station, determining a second characteristic value indicating a statistical characteristic of an interference signal based on data received from the base station, and decoding the data according to a decoding scheme corresponding to a difference of the first characteristic value and the second characteristic value.
