The SIB includes an indication for (i) a first transmission configuration indication (TCI) state that provides a first set of quasi-collocation (QCL) properties and (ii) for a second TCI state that provides a second set of QCL properties. The method further includes transmitting a first PRACH according to the first TCI state and a second PRACH according to the second TCI state.

摘要: Beam measurement and reporting by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving configuration information for a channel state information (CSI) framework from a base station (BS) and identifying reporting settings and resource settings configured for the UE based on the received configuration information. The reporting settings configure a beam measurement and reporting configuration. The resource settings configure one or more reference signal (RS) resources for beam measurement. Each of the RS resources represents a transmit (Tx) beam. The method further includes performing beam measurement based on the identified reporting and resource settings, generating a CSI report based on the identified reporting and resource settings, and transmitting the generated CSI report to the BS.

The UE includes a transceiver configured to receive configurations for a drx-onDurationTimer, search space sets for reception of a PDCCH, a first set of CSI-RS resources, SS/PBCH blocks, and a PUCCH resources; and the PDCCH that provides a DCI format including a field indicating whether or not to start the drx-onDurationTimer. A processor is configured to determine an indication by the field to not start the drx-onDurationTimer, and determine reception occasions for the first set of CSI-RS resources during the ON duration. The transceiver is configured to receive the first set of CSI-RS resources or the SS/PBCH blocks during at least one of the reception occasions. The processor is also configured to determine a CSI report based on a reception occasion, which can be transmitted using the PUCCH resource during the ON duration.

摘要: Apparatuses and methods for power determination for physical uplink control channel transmission with acknowledgement information. A method for operating a user equipment (UE) includes determining a sum of: a first number of received transport blocks (TBs) associated with a first set of radio network temporary identifiers (RNTIs), a second number of received TBs associated with a second set of RNTIs, and a third number of non-received TBs associated with the second set of RNTIs. The method further includes determining a power for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission based on the sum and transmitting the PUCCH using the power. The PUCCH includes first hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information bits associated with the first set of RNTIs and second HARQ-ACK information bits associated with the second set of RNTIs.

摘要: A method for a user equipment (UE) to receive physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) is provided. The UE receives configuration information for a first control resource set that includes a number of symbols in a time domain and a number of resource blocks (RBs) in a frequency domain, configuration information indicating a first number of Nbundle,1 frequency-contiguous RBs, and a PDCCH in the first control resource set in a number of frequency distributed blocks of Nbundle,1 RBs. The UE assumes that a demodulation reference signal associated with the reception of the PDCCH has a same precoding over the Nbundle,1 RBs. A method for constructing a search space to reduce a number of channel estimations that the UE performs for decoding PDCCHs, relative to conventional search spaces, is also provided.
