    Abstract: In an electronic device and a method for operating the electronic device according to various embodiments, an electronic device may include a foldable housing including a hinge, a first housing connected to the hinge, and a second housing connected to the hinge and configured to be foldable with the first housing about the hinge, a display including a bent area in a state in which the first housing and the second housing are folded with respect to each other, a processor disposed in the first housing or the second housing and operatively connected to the display, and a memory operatively connected to the processor, and the memory may be configured to store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to control the electronic device to: identify a folding degree between the first housing and the second housing, generate a first image based on mapping data in which the folding degree and characteristics of the first image are mapped, generate a synthetic image of the first image and a second image corresponding to the bent area wherein the generated first image is overlaid in at least a partial area of the second image, and display the generated synthetic image.

    Abstract: A wearable device is provided. The wearable device identifies a region of interest (ROI) in the first frame outputted through a display based on a user input. A camera region included in the first frame corresponds to at least partial region of a first camera image obtained through a camera at a first time point. The wearable device controls the image signal processor to process the second camera image obtained at the second time point after the first time point by a first processing scheme based on the region of interest (ROI) overlapping the camera region. The wearable device controls the image signal processor to process the second camera image by a second processing scheme that is distinct from the first processing scheme, based on the region of interest (ROI) being outside of the camera region. The wearable device displays, through the display, a second frame including the camera region corresponding to at least partial region of the processed second camera image.

    Abstract: According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises a first housing; a second housing; a hinge disposed between the first housing and the second housing such that the second housing is foldable at one end of the first housing; and a flexible display disposed on a surface of the first housing and a surface of the second housing, wherein the flexible display comprises a display panel, and a glass layer disposed on the display panel, such that the display panel is between the glass layer and the surface of the first housing and the surface of the second housing, wherein the glass layer comprises: a bendable portion configured to be flat in an unfolded state when the first housing and the second housing are disposed horizontally adjacent, and to be bent in a folded state when the first housing and the second housing are vertically adjacent; and a first flat portion adjacent to the bending portion to form a boundary and a second flat portion disposed to extend from the first flat portion to an edge of the glass layer, wherein the glass layer comprises a glass member, wherein the glass member has a first thickness in the second flat portion, has a second thickness at the center of the bending portion, and has a third thickness less than the first thickness and greater than the second thickness in a section between the first flat portion and the center of the bending portion, and wherein the thickness of the glass member gradually decreases from the first flat portion to the center of the bending portion forming a concave portion.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, at least one optical sensor, a display driver, at least one processor, and a memory. The display includes a plurality of pixels, and a plurality of color filters disposed on top of the plurality of pixels. The at least one optical sensor may generate an ultraviolet light exposure value in accordance with the exposure of the plurality of color filters to ultraviolet light. The display driver may control the driving of the display. The at least one processor may control the driving of the display driver. The memory may be operatively connected to the at least one processor. The memory may store instructions which, when executed, allow the at least one processor to calculate a radiation amount based on the value of exposure to ultraviolet rays and exposure time, and compensate color deviation of the plurality of pixels in accordance with deterioration of the plurality of color filters based on the radiation amount.

    Abstract: Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to an electronic device including an under display camera (UDC). The electronic device includes: a housing, a display, and a camera disposed inside the housing overlapping a portion of the display and acquiring light passing through the display from outside. The display includes a first area in which a first pixel overlapping with at least a portion of the camera and a first pixel driving circuit for driving the first pixel are disposed, and a second area, other than the first area, in which a second pixel and a second pixel driving circuit for driving the second pixel are disposed. The first pixel driving circuit includes a first driving thin film transistor (TFT) having a first channel region having a straight shape does not include a curved shape, and the second pixel driving circuit includes a second driving TFT having a second channel region of a curved shape. A first channel width of the first driving TFT is greater than a second channel width of the second driving TFT, and a first channel length of the first driving TFT is less than a second channel length of the second driving TFT.
