Abstract: A wireless power transmitter is provided. The wireless power transmitter includes an inverter configured to output alternating current (AC) power using direct current (DC) power, a coil configured to receive the AC power, and a control circuitry, wherein the control circuitry is configured to identify an input associated with transmitting the AC power, output the AC power at a specified frequency determined according to the input, using the inverter, transmit the AC power to an external electronic device using the coil, and, while at least partially transmitting the AC power to the external electronic device, transmit information associated with an amount of the DC power input to the inverter to output the AC power to the external electronic device, such that the external electronic device identifies transmission efficiency of the AC power using the information associated with the amount of DC power.

Abstract: One or more disclosed embodiments relate to a wireless charging transmitter and a wireless power transfer method. The wireless charging transmitter includes a first charging pad including a first wireless power circuit, a second charging pad including a second wireless power circuit, and a controller configured to, in response to detection of a first electronic device being placed on the first charging pad, transfer power at a first designated wireless power level via the first wireless power circuit, in response to detection of a second electronic device being placed on the second charging pad, transmit a first command for decreasing power transferred to the first electronic device, and transfer, upon receipt of a first request for power at a second designated wireless power level from the first electronic device in response to the first command, the power at the second designated wireless power level via the first and second wireless power circuits. The disclosure may further include other various embodiments.

Abstract: An electronic device is includes battery; coil; wireless charging circuit electrically connected to coil; power management module configured to control charge state of battery by using power supplied from receiving circuit; and processor operatively connected to wireless charging circuit and power management module, wherein processor is configured to request configuration information for performing wireless charging from external device through the wireless charging circuit; determine whether wireless charging is possible, based on a response to the request for configuration information; when the wireless charging is possible, request encrypted authentication information from the external device so as to perform authentication with respect to the external device; when the external device is an unauthenticated device, request the external device to transmit a first predetermined power; and when the external device is an authenticated device, request the external device to transmit a second predetermined power that is higher than the first predetermined power.

The processor may be configured to perform wireless charging with power wirelessly received from a wireless charger, change, via the charging circuit, a charging current of the electronic device from an initial current level to a first current level, based on the display being switched on during wireless charging, change, via the wireless power receive circuit, a charging voltage of the electronic device from an initial voltage level to a first voltage level, transmit, via the coil, a packet for changing a charging voltage of the wireless charger, change, via the wireless power receive circuit, the charging voltage of the electronic device to a second voltage level upon transmission of the packet, and change the charging current to the initial current level.

The processor receives a power control signal from an external device, applies a charging current to the conductive coil, based on the power control signal, senses whether a specified event occurs while the charging current is applied, and when the specified event occurs, transmits information for setting a charging power corresponding to the specified event to the external device.

Abstract: An electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a conductive coil, a power generation circuit, and one or more processors operatively connected to the power generation circuit and may be configured to: compare an amount of transmission power to be supplied to a power reception device with designated threshold power amount, determine a designated frequency to be a frequency of a control signal for controlling the power generation circuit when the amount of transmission power is equal to or less than the designated threshold power amount, determine a phase of the control signal based at least in part on the amount of transmission power and/or the designated frequency when the designated frequency is determined to be the frequency of the control signal, transmit the control signal having the designated frequency and the phase to the power generation circuit to generate, based at least in part on the control signal, transmission power corresponding to the amount of transmission power, and supply the transmission power generated by the power generation circuit to the power reception device wirelessly via the conductive coil.

For example, an apparatus for controlling a differential signal of a wireless power transmitter may include a converter configured to convert a single signal into differential signals; an amplifier operably coupled to the converter and configured amplify power of the differential signals, thereby providing amplified differential signals; a gauge operably coupled to the amplifier and configured to measure a phase difference and amplitude between the amplified differential signals; and a controller for converting a pulse width of the differential signals by controlling the converter according to measurements by the gauge. Further, various embodiments of the present disclosure also include other embodiments other than the aforementioned embodiments.
