The fusing apparatus includes a separation member that is rotatably mounted on a rotation axis to separate the printing medium from one of a heating roller and a pressing roller. The separation member includes a hollow portion into which the rotation axis is inserted, and a separation portion that contacts an outer circumference of the heating roller. The separation member is installed so as to be pitched around the rotation axis and a pitching axis having an inclination angle within a range of ±10° with respect to a line that connects a contact point between the separation portion and the outer circumference of the roller from which the printing medium is to be separated and a center of the roller from which the printing medium is to be separated.

    摘要: A MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) switch actuated by electrostatic and piezoelectric forces, includes a substrate; a first contact point positioned in a predetermined first area on an upper surface of the substrate; a support layer suspended at a predetermined distance from the upper surface of the substrate; a second contact point formed on a lower surface of the support layer; a first actuator operative to move the support layer in a predetermined direction using an electrostatic force; and a second actuator operative to move the support layer in a predetermined direction using a piezoelectric force. The first actuator is used to turn on the MEMS switch. The second actuator can be used together with the first actuator to turn on the MEMS switch or can be separately used to turn off the MEMS switch. As a result, a stiction can be prevented from occurring between contact points.

    摘要: A radar system includes a transmitter stage for generating a certain transmission signal; a circularly polarized antenna for emitting the transmission signal in a form of a circularly polarized signal, and receiving a reflection signal; a polarizer for isolating the reflection signal received from the circularly polarized antenna from the transmission signal, and outputting the reflection signal to a next stage; and a receiver stage for receiving the reflection signal output from the polarizer, converting the reflection signal into a signal of a certain frequency by using as a certain mixer switching signal the leakage signal leaking from the transmitter stage, and outputting the converted reflection signal. Therefore, the high-sensitivity radar system can be built in a compact size.

The system includes a reference signal generator including one or more resistance elements; a temperature sensor including a plurality of discrete resistance elements arranged parallel with one another; a multiplexer multiplexing the plurality of discrete resistance elements and the reference resistance element so that the plurality of discrete resistance elements sequentially distribute a power voltage together with the reference resistance element; a comparator having the voltages distributed by the reference resistance element and a discrete resistance element selected by the multiplexer; and a counter counting sequential switchings of the multiplexer. The counter information of the output level transit time of the comparator is provided to the controller, and the system obtains temperature information according to temperature change information from turn information of the discrete resistance elements according to the counter information.

    摘要: A non-invasive blood glucose measurement method using a magneto-resonance absorption method. A constant magnetic field is applied using a pair of permanent magnets, the magnetic field having a uniform strength. A triangular waveform low frequency modulation magnetic field is applied using a low frequency generator and a pair of low frequency coils, the low frequency modulation magnetic field having a uniform strength. A weak acoustic wave modulation magnetic field is applied using an acoustic wave generator and a pair of acoustic wave coils. Electromagnetic waves are applied to a detector in which a finger is positioned to produce a nuclear magneto-resonance, the electromagnetic waves having a frequency varying in a specific frequency band step by step, the applying being done using a high frequency generator and a sensor coil. A magneto-resonance absorption signal produced by spin-lattice relaxation of protons in a tissue of the finger because of the nuclear magneto-resonance is detected. A magneto-resonance spin-lattice relaxation time of the finger from the magneto-resonance absorption signal is determined. A blood glucose concentration in a human body is determined from a correlation between a pre-determined blood glucose concentration in the human body and the determined magneto-resonance spin-lattice relaxation time.
