In example embodiments, encoding for an AS stream is done separately at a transmitter than encoding for data streams, enabling a receiver to use one type of detection for AS bits and a reduced complexity type of MIMO detection for the data bits.

摘要: Methods and systems that enable payload data to be spread over a number of a plurality of sub-carriers for wireless transmissions between Access Points (AP) and stations (STA) in a WLAN. The AP receives each STA's status information, and controls an amount of spreading of the payload data that can flexibly and variably takes into account the desired amount of peak power consumption, the required data rate, and the channel conditions. Based on these factors, the AP determines a number of sub-carriers for each STA that will be used to carry the spread payload data. Example embodiments can address high power peak consumption, data rate inflexibility and inefficient spectrum communication as found in conventional wireless systems.

摘要: Methods and systems for scheduling successive transmissions in a wireless local area network (WLAN). An Access Point (AP) can generate a control signal that includes an identifier field for indicating that previous resource allocation from a previous transmission is to be repeated, and therefore the control signal itself does not contain resource allocation information. One or more stations (STAs) can receive the control signal and can use the previous resource allocation information stored in their respective memory to perform the transmission. The resource allocation can include three-dimensional (3D) resource allocation, which refers to time, frequency and space-domain multiplexing. Because the control signal has the identifier field, the AP can reduce network load and free resources for payload data or other traffic.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for asymmetric full duplex (FD) communications. Information about an uplink (UL) transmission opportunity (TXOP), including an indication of the TXOP, is sent by an access point (AP). The AP sends a downlink (DL) transmission to a receiving station. During the TXOP, an UL transmission is received from a transmitting station. The UL transmission at least partially overlaps in time with the DL transmission. Acknowledgement of the UL transmission is sent to the transmitting station, and acknowledgement of the DL transmission is received from the receiving station, at a synchronized time.

摘要: A method at a network node that is configured to simultaneously transmit and receive wireless RF signals, comprising: transmitting, from the network node, a downlink message, the downlink message having a preamble that includes channel estimation information for estimating a self-interference channel; monitoring at the network node, during an initial duration while transmitting the downlink message, for the channel estimation information, and estimating a self-interference channel based on received portions of the channel estimation information; and using the estimated self-interference channel to cancel self-interference while receiving an uplink message and simultaneously transmitting a remainder of the downlink message.

A low-power wake-up signal is transmitted, the wake-up signal comprising a wake-up frame including a legacy preamble decodable by legacy electronic devices and a wake-up packet decodable by the wake-up receiver circuit in a non-legacy electronic device. The legacy preamble includes information detectable by at least one of the legacy electronic devices indicating that the wake-up frame is not a valid frame for the at least one legacy electronic device, such as where the legacy electronic device is a IEEE 802.11n/ac/ax device.
