    摘要: Provided is an ultraviolet-curable silicone composition including: (A) a non-terminal epoxy group-containing organopolysiloxane, (B) an organopolysiloxane containing epoxy groups at the two terminals of the molecular chain, and an onium salt photoinitiator capable of generating cations upon irradiation with ultraviolet light. The silicone composition of the present invention yields a cured film that exhibits excellent ultraviolet-curability and can be readily peeled from a pressure-sensitively adhesive material. In particular, the silicone composition yields a cured film that exhibits a tight release force relative to pressure-sensitive adhesives such as acrylic-based pressure-sensitive adhesives, and also exhibits minimal fluctuation in the release force.

    摘要: A solvent-free silicone composition for release paper, comprising a mixture prepared by i) subjecting the organopolysiloxane (I) which is composed of R13SiO1/2 units, SiO4/2 units and (HO)SiO3/2 units, and has an OH group content of from 0.02 to 0.1 mol/100 g, to a partial condensation reaction in an organic solvent in the presence of an alkaline catalyst and the organopolysiloxane (II) represented by the following formula (2), and ii) removing the organic solvent, said mixture having an OH group content of less than 0.02 mol/100 g. The composition forms a tight-release layer stable with time.

    摘要: The invention provides a silicone composition curable by ultraviolet irradiation to give a cured film on a substrate surface exhibiting surface releasability against sticky surfaces. Advantageously, peeling works of a sticky surface from the cured surface of the inventive composition can be carried out with no or little generation of peeling noises which deteriolate the working environment. The composition comprises three different types of organopolysiloxane compounds of which the first is a so-called MQ siloxane, the second is a linear or cyclic diorganopolysiloxane having epoxy-containing substituents on the silicon atoms other than the chain terminal silicon atoms and the third is a straight or branched linear organopolysiloxane compound substituted by an epoxy-containing substituent on each of the chain terminal silicon atoms in a specified weight proportion of these three. The composition contains an onium salt compound as a photoreaction initiator to promote the ultraviolet-induced curing.

    摘要: A (meth)acrylic-modified organopolysiloxane is prepared by reacting an epoxy-modified organopolysiloxane with (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of a base. A saving of reactant expense is achieved. The (meth)acrylic-modified organopolysiloxane has so high a rate of acrylic introduction that it may be cured with radiation. The cured product exhibits high substrate adhesion and finds use as release liners.
