Abstract:
A case for accommodating a disc cartridge is disclosed which is capable of reliably protecting a disc and enabling the disc cartridge to easily be loaded/unloaded, which can arbitrarily be designed and the cost of which can be reduced. The case for accommodating a disc cartridge incorporates: a frame formed by integrating first and second frames disposed opposite to each other and a connection member for connecting the base portions of the first and second frames to each other; and a cover formed by integrating first and second cover plates which are inserted into a space between the first and second frames to be opposite to each other and a connecting cover member for connecting the base portions of the first and second cover plates to each other. The frame is made of the synthetic resin having excellent impact resistance as compared with the cover. The cover is made of the synthetic resin having light permeability.
Abstract:
Disclosed is disc medium accommodating case for conveying a large number of disc media, in which the embedding structure for the column for stacking the disc media and the case bottom plate member is improved, whereby a sturdy case is provided which is free from deformation or breakage during handling, transportation, etc. A disc medium accommodating case includes a disc-like case bottom plate member having a diameter that is larger than the outer diameter of the disc media, a stacking column which is embedded substantially at the center of the case bottom plate member in an erect position, a protective cover member formed as a truncated cone and adapted to be placed on the case bottom plate member, and a cap for fastening the protective cover member to the case bottom plate member through the intermediation of the stacking column, wherein a column insertion hole into which the stacking column can be inserted is provided at the center of the case bottom plate member, and wherein a flange portion is provided at the base end of the stacking column. The stacking column is inserted into the column insertion hole from the back side of the case bottom plate member to join the flange portion with the back side of the case bottom plate member by ultrasonic welding.
Abstract:
A semiconductor memory device including a semiconductor memory having a memory region divided into a plurality of blocks including backup blocks, the number of writes to each block being limited, and a memory controller for reading data from the semiconductor memory so as to check an error in the data read from each block, and correcting the error if it is correctable. The memory controller includes a counter for counting the number of correctable errors detected for each block, transferring the data of the corresponding block to the backup block when the number of errors detected reaches a preset value, and inhibiting re-use of the block regarding it as that the life time of the block is almost over.
Abstract:
In a tape cartridge in which a magnetic tape wound around a pair of tape reels is driven by a drive belt and in which a traveling of the tape is guided by a tape guide, there is arranged a construction which has upper and lower flanges each of which is a generally circular plate and has a center opening at a center portion and a tape guide, the tape guide including an upper fixing portion which passes through the center opening of the upper flange for having the upper flange secured thereto through caulking, a tape guide portion which guides traveling of the tape and a lower fixing portion which passes through both the center opening of the lower flange and a fixing bore of the base plate for having both the lower flange and the base plate secured thereto through caulking, so that the tape guide is stood on the base plate and guides at the tape guide portion the magnetic tape which runs between the pair of tape reels.
Abstract:
A disk cartridge having a recording/reproducing opening arranged to be opened/closed with a small space and without a sliding operation, the disk cartridge having a magnetic disk, a cartridge body for rotatively accommodating the magnetic disk and a lid rotatively supported by the cartridge body. The cartridge body has a recording/reproducing opening through which a magnetic head unit is inserted. The attached lid is able to open/close the recording/reproducing opening in such a manner that the lid usually closes the recording/reproducing opening by an elastic member and opens the recording/reproducing opening by an opening unit of the recording/reproducing apparatus when an information signal is recorded/reproduced.
Abstract:
To facilitate the handling and retrieving a cassette from among a large numbers of such cassettes contained in a case a pair of right and left inner boxes are arranged in the right and left length direction of an outer box. The inner boxes are rotatably mounted on the inner side of the outer box, so as to rotate independently. The inner boxes are identical to each other to minimize manufacturing and assembly costs.
Abstract:
An apparatus for assembling a recording medium having a recording disc and a center core having an adhesive coated area of attachment to the recording disc. The apparatus includes a horizontal base member, a support member rigidly fixed on the base member, and a core support table secured on the base member for carrying the center core placed thereon. The recording disc is placed on the attachment area of the center core placed on the core support table. A pushing tool is supported for vertical movement along the support member toward and away from the core support table. The pushing tool is moved downward to push the recording disc against the attachment area of the center core so as to bond the recording disc on the center core.
Abstract:
A disk cassette with shutter, the shutter comprising a pair of respective shutter plates and a connecting plate, for connecting the pair of shutter plates, and the shutter shaped substantially into a U-form in section. An inward concave portion is provided in each of at least one of the respective shutter plates near and along a curved corner that is formed between the connecting plate and the respective shutter plate.
Abstract:
A package palletizing system is systematized such that it comprises a winder, an inspection station for inspecting cone packages wound up by the winder, and a palletizing station for palletizing the cone packages after inspection in alternately opposite postures, and that feeding of cone packages from the winder to the inspection station is carried out by means of an overhead self-traveling truck while feeding of cone packages from the inspection station to the palletizing station and loading of the same are carried out by means of the overhead self-travelling truck.
Abstract:
A device for developing a photographed film by rolling up and down the film in a liquid developer is provided, which comprises a hollow body opened at the lower end thereof, a rotary shaft axially extending through the hollow body to be slidable thereto and having a length long enough to extend beyond the lower free end of the hollow body, and a disc attached to the lower end of the rotary shaft and adapted to close the lower end of the hollow body when the rotary shaft is raised to a predetermined level.
